This would be a fun matchup. If KJ was healthy, then it would be fun to see him and Curry go at it. -Dan Majerle vs Klay Thompson would be interesting defensively.

Barkley vs Green and Bogut would be fun as well. But I think the Warriors have too many weapons. The Suns were considered to be the one of the best 3pt shooters of their team. And they had good shooters like Ainge and Majerle, but the Warrirors take more 3s and shooter at a better percentage.

The Suns biggest deal would be how good their defense could be and how well could Barkley play. Barkley dealt with better frontlines, and will probably give the Warriors some trouble. KJ vs Curry again would be interesting. KJ could take him all sorts of ways by posting up, off the dribble, etc. Curry is Curry tho. The fast break could go either way.

The Warriors are more balance and is more complete than the Suns, however Barkley and a healthy KJ could give the Warriors a lot of trouble. The Warriors are better defensively and have more weapons to defend them in the half court with both perimeter and frontline, but not sure if they could slow them down since it revolve around Barkley. They could stop the other guys. With the Suns, KJ has to do his best work on Curry, and Majerle and Klay Thompson would be interesting as I said.

It'll go seven games probably. If Curry is playing against the Rockets and Pelicians, then probably the Warriors. If not, then maybe the Suns.

I think the '86 Celtics would be a better match up. Both 67 win teams with GOAT level shooters as "the man."

'86 Celtics would beat GSW for sure. As for the captioned match-up, GSW wins in 5-6.

I don't think it's clear cut at all. Then again, a heavy dose of nostalgia isn't clouding my judgement.

I was a huge Suns fans growing up and both my cousins went to Arizona State University but the Warriors in 5. Bigger, more athletic and can rain 3s anytime.

If he plays the complete season they're still winning no more than 65-67.

*shrugs* KJ was injury prone, and never could get over the hump after a while. Who knows what would happen. Same thing with Rodman in 97. He was out for a while, and the bulls still won 69 games.

Anyway, I would think the Warriors would still beat them assuming if Curry is going off like this, but the Suns could beat them depending on how good their perimeter defense is.
