View Full Version : Is JR Smith the best SG Lebron ever had in CAVS?
From the time Lebron was drafted, they always try to look for a good shooting guard that would complement well with Lebron:
Ricky Davis
Dajuan Wagner
Larry hughes
Luke Jackson
All of these players failed to play well with LBJ. But it seems JR Smith is the guy LBJ is looking for.

Ricky Davis embodied the early 00s more than any other player including Iverson.

Probably. Delonte West was nice but a little undersized for the 2 guard.

Easily.
Besides that, I think what makes LeBron so special is his ability to get the most out of his teammates.
J.R. Smith was thought to be a headcase that couldn't help any team win a championship. He was the butt of jokes. If you read about something stupid happening, in the NBA, you automatically thought of J.R. Smith.
He was the guy untying other players shoestrings, etc. He was just another role player that was going downhill fast and soon to be out of the league and possibly broke.
Now, he's playing with the King and looking like an All-Star. Now, instead of thinking about all the bad sh!t J.R. Smith has done, people are amazed at his new transition. Now, he seems to be a key piece to the championship puzzle.
LeBron Freaking James:

Speaks volumes about Lebron's "help" as a Cav in his career, when a crash-and-burn shooter like JR Smith is considered one of his best teammates.

There was a time when Ricky Davis thought the Cavs drafted LeBron to become Davis's #2 option. Seriously.
