Depends if the Warriors have the refs in their pockets like OKC did in 2015.

Bogut would be in foul trouble very fast
Heat were on point with the trapping defense at this point
Golden state really lacks the quality of bigs to punish this Miami squad inside
Between Lebron/Wade/Cole, Curry would have a very hard time

That Thunder team was not better than the Warriors. They were great, but they played predictable and stale iso ball.
2013 Heat > 2012 Heat
Not in the playoffs

Wait, so Wade is fully healthy, not dealing with a knee injury that left him at 90%? And even a not healthy Wade gave Miami 23-6-5 in the Finals? What does he average healthy?
Bosh is not coming back from an injury that cost him 9 games, and is at full strength?
2012 Battier, who was just about the perfect role player?
2012 LeBron, who averaged 31-11-5 for an entire postseason and had games of 40-18-9 and 45-15-5?
The best perimeter defense since the 1996 Bulls? And even better with a healthy Wade, against a team that has no post options?
Yeah, **** that.
**** that.

Haha. True. The Warriors are great, but they have to beat the Cavs first before the Heat comparison.
BTW, 2011 Heat > 2012 Heat

Heat win because they can shut down the Warriors offense. One of the worst matchups ever for that team. That along with any of the Bulls teams with Ron Harper.

I know the Big 3 was beasting this year but the 2012 Heat had more depth

I don't think the 2011 Heat was better. 2012 Heat just got injured in the playoffs, but they played more as a team than the 2011 Heat where they just beat teams based upon talent. Big 3 was beasting, but 2012 had more depth and teamplay.
2013 Heat, imo, is the best version of the Heat when healthy. Once they got Chris Anderson they were dominating.
Anyway, all versions of the Heat could possibly beat the Warriors team if healthy. They have the perimeter defense to slow them down and I don't know if they could punish them from the post. They would beat them at the rebounds tho.

2012 heat. This year nba champion will be weakest, its always a super star studded team winning. This year not, at max there is 2 star players on each team.
No celtics of 2008 - 2010..or heat of 2011 - 2014 with multiple stars on team.

So much this. Don't really know why people don't realize this. LeBron disappearing in the Finals is the only reason why people think otherwise. The 2011 Heat had the two best players in the game and cruised through the playoffs til the infamous disappearing act.

//thread, they went to consecutive finals for a reason, one of the best teams formed in the modern era with its biggest icon leading the way. curry and thompson would be suffocated by the swarming D, you dont beat that team with perimeter players, you have to pound inside and rebound.

Warriors would beat us.
Better team, and they have a stack of shooters, which we always struggled to guard.

I would think 2013 healthy Heat > 2012 healthy Heat > 2011 Heat > 2014 Heat.
Playoff wise, then you're right.

The 2012 Heat had more Depth and better Role Players. However, the 2011 Heat won Games on Talent and could've gone the whole Post-Season losing only 3 Games.
It's hard to pick for me which squad was better.

this team is really overrated now. 2012 Heat would win, I don't think it would necessarily be close. you prime Lebron and Wade and Bosh that Curry is better than all 3 of them and watch what happens...
