Zach Lavine plays WR at practice and dunks footballs. Took me a little while to realize just how impressive this is.
The 3rd dunk :biggums:

Catching a football with one hand 10 feet up in the air while running full speed is impressive enough...
but he's dunking it. That's insane

Kid needs discipline, stop fooling around and practise your jumpshoot in the offseason....

his shot chart actually doesn't look too bad for a rookie.

Dunking a football via alley-oop with two hands is actually easier than doing the same with a regulation basketball. That said, those one-handed snags are nice. Dude's a freak of nature.
Also, what's his standing reach? It seemed like he finished that last one when he was almost on the ground.

Draft exp says 8'4. Not really all that amazing for his height. Same standing reach as Westbrook and oj mayo. Tyreke Evans and Dante Exum have an 8'8 standing reach.

Maybe, but he doesn't have the size and strength to go with the leaping abilities.

I think it is just because of the speed up making it look like that and the angle of the court. His stranding reach doesn't look that impressive:

QB is throwing ducks.
Lavine's reach is 8-4 per DE

Thanks, guys. You're right, Alamo, 8'4'' isn't too crazy. The angle must have messed with me, alongside the ability to put a football through the hoop at a much lower elevation than a basketball (meaning he could still make that last one despite being so far into his descent).

Glad to see he is using the off season to work on improving his all-around game.
The catches are better than the dunks.

Then show him dunking a bowling ball. Anything shouldn't mean something easier than a basketball. What's next a volleyball or a tennis ball?
