Oklahoma as well
Most rain I've ever seen in my life...it just won't stop. Supposed to rain all this week as well. I might build an Ark soon.
Never in my life did I think Texas could get too much rain...
Need some water Cali?....we have about an ocean's worth to spare over here.

Yeah. Houston is completely under water.
Build a drainage pipeline to California. They're desperate for water.

Does a lot of that water end up in dams or basins for future use or end up simply flowing into the gulf? That really sucks to see all that flooding but it could provide a nice buffer against future drought. I know water rates in Texas can be really sensitive to drought conditions so it could help residents in the future.

I didn't have any power in the house for a couple of hours. It was raining non-stop all night and the thunder clap sounded like a bomb. It was really crazy. I couldn't sleep so I used my 4G to go on Netflix and watched some american dad. I ended up falling asleep and woke up with netflix still running. So yeah... I barely had any sleep and used a crap ton of my data. Not a fun day at all.

Dallas under water too...but last night I saw that Dallas was seen as "minor flooding" while Houston was "major flooding"
San Antonio area may be the worst though...

You start by taking down that awful wallpaper. Next I'd switch out the green tile/gold accent counter-tops. After that I worry about the water.

Only a relatively small amount that the reservoirs can hold, which likely already operate at near full capacity because they were designed for efficient daily use and not catastrophic flood mitigation.
I'm guessing they would have to use tankers to pump the water out into storage. Assuming they can properly decontaminate the water at some point.

Sucks for you. I slept pretty comfortably all night. When I woke up I realized what had happened. I shrugged it off and made myself some breakfast. It was a good day.
Heard like 5 people died in Houston. :(
