Finally using their brains.

Muniday and Russell look decent though.

Knicks fans upset, calling him Tyson Chandler 2.0, no offense.

Yes it is. If they take WCS #4 they deserve to suck for the next decade, period.

As much as I love Mudiay, I cant fault the Knicks for wanting to take a quick Andre Drummond basically

Mudiay will be an all star PG but WCS will be an all star center

Yes and no.

Knicks might f*ck themselves by overthinking this, Mudiay or Russell is the pick.

The only way I'd want WCS is if they trade down and stock up a pick for future. And I'm not talking about a 2nd round pick. WCS is a good player but I want to see a PG drafted who can run an offense. I don't give a shit about some mythical triangle offense. Phil Jackson's teams won because they had MJ/Pip and Kobe/Shaq/Gasol. Not because of some fkin triangle offense. Mudiay or Russell. I'd even be happy with Winslow. But not someone with no offensive ability.

I'm sure Phil Jackson spoke to them personally.

Bad match for both of them.

Knicks need play makers. WCS needs an offensive team. Neither are good for the other.

They'd trade down before they took WCS at #4.

Dont believe it.

I don't think its impossible. The Knicks need a defensive C badly, especially if Melo really wants to play more PF. Plus the top prospects aren't separated by as much as advertised this year. I'd take Mudiay,Russell or Winslow though myself.

It's not impossible but I don't see why they would't just trade down. Maybe Orlando wants WCS. It's not a terrible pick tbh. WCS is a sure thing imo

Phil has lost it. WCS at 4?:oldlol: Poor mans Tyson Chandler.

Also, maybe this is an intentional leak to lure Orlando or Sacramento to trade up. I doubt Orlando would because that means one of the "Big 4" (Russel, Mudiay, Okafor, Towns) fell to them but Sacramento could be baited maybe

A "sure thing" like Hasheem Thabeet was? For his defence.

he's close to a "sure thing" yes. naming one player who busted won't change that...

New Yorkers unite.

Mudiay or Russell or Winslow. Anyone else is a waste of a high pick.

this .. there is no way Phil is stupid enough to pick WCS ..

Won't happen. He's anemic and a huge risk at such a good pick. Jarred Jeffries re-born.

Pretty dumb post, thinking on it. Try harder.

What is the surprise? Knicks have 4 players to consider

Mudiay/Russell
Porzingis
WCS

They have to look at Mario and Winslow for due diligence, but yeah they have a chance to make a great choice. I don't think it ends up being WCS but he is the safest choice there.

If your best 2 players were Carmelo and Bargnani would WCS between them really be a bad choice?

A "sure thing" like Hasheem Thabeet was? For his defence.
Not only is he tall, he's strong, and fast, and has great lateral movement, a great vertical, and a great work ethic.

Thabeet was none of those things.

Besides, the NBA is transitioning into a faster paced, run and gun league. Look at Hibbert. The league doesn't have time for big bodies anymore.

Trading back for any sort of value to get WCS would be ideal. Problem is I don't think Sacramento passes on WCS, so they can't go back too far.

Hey Knicks fans remember the last time you picked a defensive big man over a dynamic PG? Don't make the same mistake twice.

people being upset over a pick is sometimes a good thing.
