3 teams left. Who you got?

I got Cleveland over GSW in 6.

They have the best player, finals experience, and they're on a roll after sweeping the #1 seed in the east without breaking a sweat, Coach Blatt is winner (won the euroleague championship last year). If Kyrie is somewhat healthy, I really like the Cavs chances tbh.

edit: I'll keep a tally as well

Cavs in 4 or 5: 3

Cavs in 6 or 7: 9

Cavs total: 12

Warriors in 4 or 5: 3

Warriors in 6 or 7: 6

Agreed. Who is the great player that the Warriors have beaten through their romp through the Western Conference? Davis was overmatched and it was his first time in. Gasol? I could say the same thing about the Cavs, but Lebron has championship experience.

You really think LeBron is better than Curry? Maybe if you love LeBron's defensive edge. But I don't see it. Of course, it really doesn't matter right now. Whoever wins the title will be considered better. I still can't believe Curry may slam the league with MVP - FMVP in the same year.

I always get a kick out of the people saying Cavs will lose in 4 or 5. Only the Spurs have been able to beat LeBron in less than 6. And the Warriors aren't in the same class as the 14 Spurs. And I don't even think they would be the 07 team either.

Yes Lebron is better than Curry. They will both play well regardless. But I think it's more about the "other guys."

If Kyrie, TT, JR, Shump, Mozgov play as well as they have been, Cavs take it.

If Klay, Draymond, Bogut, Iggy, whoever else play well, Warriors got it.

You can think whatever you want. GS isn't a physical team, and they have no one that can slow LeBron down. Look at the numbers, Bron has shot over 50% against Green, Thompson, Igoudala, and Barnes in his NBA career. Not to mention I don't see who is keeping Cleveland's froncourt off the boards. Kyrie can't guard Curry, but Curry can't guard Kyrie either. The healthier he gets, the more chance GS has of winning dwindles.

As badly as I want the Cavs/LeBron to win, the Warriors are a historically good team at full strength facing the Cavs missing a star player, and another star player hobbled. I think it will be a competitive series but the better team will win. Oracle is such a huge home court advantage.

How about they sag off him and force him to shoot the long ball all series while they easily outscore the Cavs on the other end? Just like the Spurs last year, they can live with Bran having an efficient ~30 points as long as his teammates are neutralized.

Cavs in 6. If Love was healthy this would absolutely be Cavs in 5.

I can't believe how wrong I was about the impact that JR Smith has had playing with a winning player. I seriously thought he was going to make the Cavs worse. I was so, so wrong...

The Warriors are a better team than the Cavs against the majority of the league, but I personally think that they don't match up well against the Cavs... just like I think the Spurs would have beaten the Cavs in the Finals even though the Cavs are a better team than the Spurs.

It's funny how shit comes down to matchups sometimes...

I also think, and I could be wrong, that the Warriors are too young overall to not succumb to the pressure of playing in the Finals at some point.

I have never made a single sports wager in my entire life but I am tempted to put some money on this one.

Maybe the forum isn't actually dominated by retards like we all thought. There's still some hope.

Anyways, on paper, the Cavs are still the underdogs. But winning a title would by no means be a miracle, unless it was like a come from behind win or something.

Warriors are the favorites on paper as others have stated. But with how well Cleveland is coming along together and their level of cohesion they've clicked at the right time this postseason. I wouldn't be surprised if they went and pulled off then upset.
