1st round-injured Jrue and Reke
2nd round-injured Conley (who Klay started guarding after Conley lit Currys @zz up in game 2)
3rd round-injured Bev. He had to defend Terry and Prigioni who still lit him up in games
now he will have to defend JR or Kyrie more, less energy on offense since his stacked defense cant constantly be bailing him out like tonight. Tonight Klay, Iggy, Harrison and Ezeli played better than him, arguably Draymond too.
lets see how he does..............my guess GS wins title off what goes them here............DEFENSE AND being the most stacked/talented/deep team

Kyrie is like at 50% health though
He gets over a week rest luckily

The series has some interesting matchups, no doubt. I hope Kyrie is 100% or close to it, because he can't cover Curry if he's hobbled, and there really isn't anybody you can "hide" Kyrie on.

Reke is a tough guard for anyone in the league.

Evans is tough to guard in ISO's and how is guarding a hobbled Irving and inconsistent JR Smith the toughest test ?

JR is a top 5 spot up shooter in the league. He was in NY too statistically. Steph cant gamble like he did this series leaving Prigioni and Jet wide open, JR will make him pay. Plus hes far more athletic than Steph and can drive on him, has the footspeed, strength and game off the dribble
Kyrie is fine now he destroyed the Hawks last game

Irving will be fine
Curry will have to put in work

They will put him on Shump. Don't worry, they will find someone to hide him on. I have faith in Steve Kerr hiding his MVP's flaws.

Except they've hardly done that this year. That was a Mark Jackson thing.
Curry has played good defense all year long.

Let Jr bomb away contested jump shots  He'll shoot the Cavs right out of the game.

Curry cannot guard, and he will not be guarding Kyrie otherwise it's 4-0 Cavs

People have been saying this since the 1st round

Warriors play team defense, it's why they're so successful, Curry doesn't have to guard anyone alone, nobody on the Warriors guards anyone by themselves...
One of the most sophisticated defense teams we've ever seen

This. Cavs have not seen a defense of this caliber.

Average at best all youre doing is looking up numbers and ignoring context. Ron Adams has the 2nd best defensive system outside of Thibs, they have 3 allworld defenders along with Klay, Livignston and Ezeli who are good defenders. Stephs defensive metrics overstate his actual impact, hes not a bad defender hes no Lillard but hes avg at best. Livingston is his backup and he plays better in the scheme
he did a good job rebounding this series but outside of gambling for steals he did nothing else and he had such an easy matchup in Terry and Prigioni

I just saw Steph Curry get his ankles broken and on the floor from a Jason Terry drive to the basket. Curry's defense is improved but stop bullshitting me dude, Klay will be the one guarding Kyrie for most of the stretches. We will all witness this. Steph will start out on him and then once he picks up a foul, they will hide him. Saw that shit in the Grizzlies series, how often did Curry even guard Conley? :kobe:

Why do you think he won't get rested on D again?
Iggy/Green on LBJ
Klay on Kyrie
The most he will have to deal with is JR, who is much easier to defend than LBJ or Kyrie, and even then he has the leftover of Iggy/Green to take over that assignment if he gets torched.

Im aware, u still have assignments. Theyre not playing zone 24/7 like the 11 Mavs

Curry guarded Conley in game 2 and got destroyed. Klay was on him for the rest of the series and did a great job
