Both are or will be legends for the Golden State Warriors. Lets forget for a minute that Rick Barry was a huge throbbing asshole whose own mother struggle to love. Which player is better? Has Curry done enough right now to be above Rick Barry in the all time ranking? What about if he wins the title this season while performing well and winning finals MVP?

Barry wasn't an asshole; he was an individualist, and that pisses mainstream society off.
But the answer is Barry is much better. Curry struggled in the semis vs Memphis badly.

LOL WTF?!
No.
And you do realize Barry did win the Warriors a title? And the FMVP?
Rick Barry is light years ahead of Curry. This is one of those comparisons where saying "...and it's not even close" is actually valid.

Barry is in my top20 players ever TBH. He beat some CRAZY ASS teams almost singlehandedly that he had no business beating. Even before his chip, he and Thurmond beat Kareem and Oscar (the year before Barry got there, the warriors lost to the bucks in 5. Add barry=win in 6). He's truly one of the most underrated players ever.

Rick Barry. Dude was a scoring machine during his prime. And that Warriors teams overachieved in the playoffs and finals.

Hell, no. Barry, including his ABA career, is a 25,000+ point (and 25/7/5 avg) guy. 12 time All-Star, 10 time All-League, has led the leagues in ppg, FT%, spg and has had multiple impressive playoff runs. And that's with a whole missed season in his prime and 3 others with many missed games each.
Curry hadn't even been an All-Star up to 2013. Even if Curry wins it all, what he'll have above Barry will be 1 MVP.

Peak Rick Barry is underrated. When nikkas talk bout the carryjob to a title they bring up the usual Hakeem, Dirk, Duncan............but Barry was right there. He was much better overall

Rick Barry had a squad. The **** you talking about? Rick Barry had a front court of himself at the 3, Keith "Jamal" Wilkes at power forward, and Clifford Ray at center. Clifford Ray was a beast on defense and rebounding in the early to mid 70s. Clifford Ray was like the Ben Wallace of the 70s. Barry had former all star and Hall of famer Jeff Mullen's coming off the bench beasting on ****** also, as well as the very underrated Butch Beard in the backcourt. Barry won a championship against a Bullets team that had a front court of Elvin Hayes and Wes Unseld in the post. Barry had to have had some type of help to defeat a twin towers type team in the Unseld/Hayes's Bullets.

If a time machine existed, where the 74-75 Warriors had an opportunity to play against the current championship Warriors teams, Steph would have problems. Curry's Warriors teams can't play small ball against them, because Clifford Ray would shut Draymond Green down, and Jamal Wilkes was also a much better player than current Draymond Green also, and Harrison Barnes would have a lot of problems guarding Rick Barry also. Curry, on the other hand, would have a field day playing against the 75 Warriors backcourt, cause Butch Beard and Charles Johnson clearly aren't/weren't on Curry's current level.
