Bran has been the face of the NBA for a while but this year Curry has emerged as a challenger. Curry was #1 in all star votes over Bran. Curry won the MVP over Bran. Curry has relatively few haters compared to Bran except for a few trolls, hipsters, and insecure Bran stans. Curry is a media darling, great role model, and humble. Winning an NBA championship and FMVP by defeating Bran in the Finals will make Curry the undisputed Face of the NBA.

He has a chance.

2011 it was Rose, 12' it was Durant, 13' was Durant and George..... this year it's Curry's chance, let's see if he succeeds.

When I think Cleveland vs GS, I think...

Lebron vs Golden State.

Yeah Curry was the MVP, but Golden State is stacked 1-5 and then 6-10. It's not just Curry. And, GS plays team ball. Lots of passing, great passing, team rebounding, team defense, team everything.

I dont see this as a head to head matchup at all (like Cleveland vs Houston would have been). Golden State is a near perfectly constructed TEAM.

They didn't look so perfect to me against rockets.

This. Aside from that game 3 blowout, they didn't look like the all-time team people say they are. Rockets don't matchup well with GS at all (1-8 regular/postseason record).

What have the TV ratings looked like, seriously question I haven't looked. That's what really matters in the face race.

Not really. Bran Haters tune in to Cavs games to root against Bran. Curry Fans > Bran Fans. Bran Haters >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Curry Haters.

I said 'near perfectly constructed'.

And they demolished the MVP runner up, and the 2nd best record in the West.

Thats pretty near perfect.

Dude, you don't know anything about basketball. And have proven it all week. You're the same clown that just told us Green was better passer and ball-handler than prime Oden. :oldlol:

When Curry wins 4 mvp and has been the best player in the league for over 5 years with 2 championship then we can start to compare.

so long as Lebron is still playing near-prime he will be the solo face of the NBA. No contest tbh - and ESPECIALLY among basketball observers (enthusiasts, media, fans). And this isn't necessarily due to Bron's image.. moreso due to the fact he is chronically in the finals and will ppbly continue to be for the next few years. Guys like MJ, Kobe, Bron, Shaq with their 5+ appearances have simply gotten way more airtime than their peers.

Cover what? Nobody gave them a chance vs GS. I didnt give them a chance. They were a preseason #6 seed that lost to a 67 win team with an MVP in the western conference finals.

What's to cover up for?
