As we have seen, injuries towards the end of the year and in the playoffs (which means it is too late to make a trade or sign a free agent to reinforce said injured position) can kill a whole team's season.
So it's very valuable towards the end of the season and playoffs to have a chameleon who can play multiple positions.
Lebron is more versatile than anyone I've seen in the top 10 all time lists besides Magic.
(for evidence of this versatility of these two leading to Championships, see: Lebron in 2012 when Bosh was injured, Lebron in 2015 when K Love got injured, and Magic when he played Center in the Finals).
Therefore, these two guys (Lebron and Magic) are guys you would love to have going into the playoffs, and thus they should move up value in people's top 10 lists.
