So LeBron has two all-star caliber players in Kyrie and JR Smith, who is a more productive player than Wade, for the Finals this year. Even more talented than his Heat teams. Damn.

Should be a cakewalk to the title this year for them.

Wade was a bad fit for Lebron.

They were not a perfect fit, but they were so good that they were able to get through their noncomplementary pairing.

If you paired Lebron with a player of 2012 Wade's level who WAS complimentary, like maybe even Melo himself of current Steph Curry (someone who can shoot lights out) they woulda been even better.

True, people dont realize but a big reason why Miami had to go small 'LeBron at the 4' and 'No rim protection' was that Wade couldnt shoot so you needed a second shooter in their, hence Bosh shooting 3's

Wades deficiencies literally forced Miami to play undersized.

He contributed to several 50+ win teams before playing with LeBron.

JR smith helps more with spacing and better defense. Better ball movement. LeBron can stay aggressive when he's out there.

2015 JR >>>2013 Wade as a complement to LeBron.

Well, that's the thing about Lebron - he's only elite in one area of scoring, so it's necessary to surround him with CERTAIN TYPES of players.

Otoh, MJ was elite at ALL areas of scoring, so it didn't matter who you put around him... He could play with ball-dominant guys (Pippen), dominant big men (like Kobe did with Shaq/Gasol).

And of course, MJ was an elite ball-dominator himself, as evidenced by the 31/9/11/51 (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01/gamelog/1989/#322-346-sum:pgl_basic) he averaged for the 24 games he played at PG (http://ballislife.com/michael-jordan-could-of-been-the-best-point-guard-ever-want-proof/) in 1989 - during this stretch he had 10 triple doubles in 11 games.. No other wing player has ever passed this well or played PG this well.

Why was he only 1-9 before Pippen came along then?

He played the 1986 and 1987 Celtics with a WOAT supporting cast.

Even superman himself can't beat a top 3 all-time team with a WOAT supporting cast.

Now if he played some garbage team like say, Gilbert Arenas Wizards that were like 10,931 all-time instead of top 3, then I'm sure his record would be much better.. It's pretty simple really - preschool shit tbh - but I'm happy to explain it anytime.

Regarding this thread, I've seen JR Smith do dunks MJ and Lebron can't do, such as the #1 dunk on this top 10 list:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpEHATybh3o

MJ and Lebron can't do that dunk - let me know if you need further explanation, but take my word for it - they can't..

Obviously, that alone doesn't make JR Smith an all-star, but when you combine that type of ELITE athleticism with elite shooting, you have an all-star caliber player - JR's problem is that his head's all messed up.

The scary thing however, is that his PEAK ability > Klay's... He's capable of doing EVERYTHING Klay does and some.. He's not his team's 2nd option and never has been, but he has the ability to go off and when he does, he's > and more dangerous than Klay..

So with JR Smith and Klay possibly being a wash (if JR plays to his capacity), the Cavs matchup very well with GS - Kyrie is close enough to Curry, Lebron has an utterly MASSIVE advantage on Barnes, and Mosgov/Tristan hold their own against Bogut and Green (Green is the one with the advantage over Tristan)... So the matchups are close, and if Lebron can have his very first MJ-level Finals performance, then the Cavs should win EASILY.

Wade last year was a huge disappointment, especially in the finals.

Got completely rekt by Danny Green and Patty Mills.

That's great...except for the fact that in 11 seasons he has never been close to all star caliber while ALWAYS being a dumb son of a bitch who does stupid shit. Why is not surprising that this clown is actually a player you like. :facepalm
