I think the east will be that good next season that not only will all 8 teams that make the playoffs finish above .500 but that there will actually be teams that don't make the playoffs next season in the east that finish above .500.
You have to think that the Pacers and Heat will make it for sure next season. The Pacers will have Paul George back for a full season and the Heat will get Chris Bosh back and they'll have a full season with Goran Dragic. Then you have teams like the Nets and Celtics who barely made it this season but will probably improve next season and might not even make the playoffs next season.

Wizards
Raptors
And can't forget about the Knicks and Hornets who both might improve.
