Daring Curry to shoot jumpers is a bad idea.

Lebron lost his ability to be 'the biggest alpha of all time' in 2011 Finals. Do you remember that?

How is it Alpha to call another man unstoppable? Even if you include yourself. Curry isn't saying the same... so which one is Beta?

Seriously... he got wrecked in that series. I bet $20 on the Mavs in 6. People thought I was crazy to do that. I knew LeBron would choke.

that mavs team was built to wreck the heat though. they were a big team, big front line and they had a deep bench...something the heat didn't.

I mean look at the heats bench that season:
Jamaal Magloire?
Mike Bibby
Carlos Arroyo
Erick Dampier

Udonis Haslem was injured
Mike miller was laying an absolute egg

the mavs had a pretty damn good team:

Caron Butler (provided excellent offense off the bench as a second string small forward)
Brendan Haywood (perfect player to come off the bench at the time whilst tyson was resting. Whilst his production isn't as good, he was an excellent help defender, and paint clogger)
Shawn Marion (Was on Lebron like glue, Marion was 2 seasons out of his prime on offense, but he was still a damn good defender)
Tyson Chandler (the perfect defensive anchor to play alongside dirk)
JJ barea (ask the swept lakers that season how his ass taste. Bynum's a fkn dirty player)
Jason Kidd (found new light in his 3 point shot, and was a great floor general)
Jason Terry (no explanation, the guy just went HAM)
Peja Stojakovic (good floor spacer and was still hitting the 3 like crazy)

oh and Dirk

I mean Lebron did lay an egg....but he also didn't have that much help on his end to really aid the situation either. Other then Wade who on the heat was really producing? The mavs completely threw the heat off their game with their defensive schemes, constant switching and all their offence was firing from all cylinders.

People really underate that mavs team. I would've loved to have seen a series between them and the 07-08 celtics.

A double team with shump/Jr or delly/jr would be pretty deadly

i say keep JR the hell away from steph as much as possible. As much as i love JR's game, he is ego driven, and if Steph starts hitting 3s in his grill, JR is gonna try and go ISO on the other end and do the same. He did it to korver in game 1 of the hawks cavs series. He'll do it again.

Except he's been slowed down rather considerably these playoffs...

sub 40% shooting and nearly 5 tos a game, is 'not slowing down' - the man is delusional
