Greetings my InsideHoops™ brethren:
As with other Kobe stans, I have decided to become a "die-hard" Golden State Warriors fan these Finals, similar to how I was a "die-hard" San Antonio Spurs fan the last two seasons and a "die-hard" Oklahoma City Thunder fan the season before.
Some of my mates have questioned my motivations for being so fickle in my loyalty. "Ayo", they say, "aren't you just rooting against LeBron because you are worried he will surpass your idol, Kobe?" To this, I scold them harshly. "How can you consider LeBRONZE [I call him LeBRONZE because he only came in 3rd place that one time, quite clever, no?]... how can you consider LeBRONZZZZZE a threat to the Black Mamba? Are you only looking at the superficial stats like PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, BPG, FG%, and 3PT%? Are you not factoring that LeBRONZE plays in the LEAST [that is my pet name for the Eastern conference because it is so easy; hopefully it catches on!]? And that LeBRONZE is once again playing with a "superteam" made up of the former champion Knickerbockers and battle-hardened Cavaliers? How can this compare to Kobe's greatness in chuckery?" To this, they shake their heads in obvious agreement and I have once again ended the argument like an alpha male.
But to the question: at what point can I and other Kobe stans begin using the term "we" when rooting on our alternative "die-hard" teams, such as the Warriors this year? Although the Mamba is not playing in this series, it is obvious that his influence is there. Where do you think Stephen Curry learned to take shots like this one?

Kobe System all day! Go Warriors!
