Happy 36th birthday to NBA Legend, and one of the greatest scorers this league has ever seen, Tracy McGrady.

If it weren't for injuries, T-Mac could've went on to become an MVP, an NBA Champion, one of the greatest ever.

Hall of Famer in my book!

Wait, T-Mac is 2 years younger than Vince Carter yet Vince is still in NBA while T-Mac ended up in a minor baseball league?

Injuries ruined T-Mac. Vince outside of 2 years is a very durable player.

I feel like he could still play. Even when he was a bench scrub on the Spurs, his game still looked smooth as ****. He's a lot like Vince in that regard.

It's May 24th, but I do know that it was Glenn Rice's birthday yesterday. I think he was born in 65, or 67.

I'm convinced the Spurs won have won it all in 2013 if they played TMac. Mark that off as another Pop failure.

Injuries aren't what kept TMac from being a champion and one of the GOATS.

He was role player mind with a mega superstar skillset.

My favorite athlete of all time, but it is what it is with him. He's a goddamn nightmare to guard for literally anyone, but he needed a true leader.

He could do things on the court I've never seen before. But he was an actual beta.

It seemed like just yesterday TMac fanboys were saying he would go down in history as a more accomplished player than Kobe.

Left Ray Allen in the dust
Left AI in the dust
Left Vince Carter in the dust
Left TMac in the dust
Left Wade in the dust

Sadly, it looks like he has met his better with LeBron. :(

It's a shame McGrady & Yao never won a ring together.

He didn't want any of those things. You can't get what you don't want. Someone else has to lead you to it.

It's a shame he never found a great teammate. I would have liked to see him and Wade team up, both in their primes. Or him and Paul Pierce. A tough guy who wants to consistently carry the team, and let T-Mac be a spot-scorer and facilitator.

I think he might have held off chronic injuries for several years if he could have played 75% on offense most of the time like Pippen used to. That kind of play fit his personality better. He should have never had to score 30 a night.

It would have been interesting to see how Grant and Tmac would have worked out if injuries hadn't gotten in the way.

Or even more interesting... what if Tim Duncan decided to pursue Orlando's offer in 2000 and sign with the Magic ? Probably would have ruled the majority of the 00's.

I was mainly thinking of the fact that Hill and Tmac were an actual tandem but yeah, Duncan with Tmac circa 2001-2004 would have been very interesting.
