Three episodes aired so far; I can't say it's good for sure, but so far so good. A few tend to overact but it doesn't hurt the show too much. Also a lot of similarities and influences-could be just tributes- to other shows, X-files vibe, Twin Peaks setting, even some 4400.
So it's a good blend of mystery, sci-fi, and psychological thriller to put it short.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and I like it. The only thing that worries me is it's by M. Night. I have hated his last 5 movies mostly because the trailers made them seem like something they weren't.

But I'll watch it till the end, because it's only supposed to be 10 episodes I think

Well the trailer for this one sucked ass, so who knows?

I watched the first episode and it was good. I worry that they gave away a bit too much the first episode, but I will be watching the next episode. Intriguing premise thus far.

Going to watch the third episode now

Lets be honest though

This is a low key hollywood take on the reality of our flat earth and the ice wall that surrounds us known as Antarctica

Same with the matrix too.

Episode 3 was extremely good and sort of gives away what the show is really about. My only confusion is if there is no way out, then how do new people come in??

I'm guessing anybody who gets near is marked and then captured in the same manner then inserted into town.

Well they definitely make adjustments to your brain via that surgery they wanted to do on Burke, I reckon some go crazy after the operation? This is a town full of guinea pigs this much I know.

So Hulu releases this one episode at a time? That's a little weird.

And I don't remember the show, but I know one of the networks had a new show that they were airing once a week like normal, but they made the entire season viewable on their website all at once for binging.

That's Aquarius I think, the David Duchovny show about Charles Manson.

I've watched the first 3 episodes. I was worried it'd be like Lost where there's always more questions than answers, but they seem to be buzzing through it pretty quickly and there won't be too much unanswered stuff.

Show is getting better and better.
The ex-sheriff was holding the show back, his corny acting won't be missed. Also they better find another way than making background music/noise when they want to talk freely, it gets repetitive.
Pam is great at her role, she looks like a psychopath but she is not insane, more like she found her paradise.

I don't know how I feel about that whole revelation, I hope it doesn't become just another zombie show.

*spoiler* from episode 5

Plot hole: you have the technology and resources to time travel but you choose to go into the future and live with these things rather than trying to prevent or fighting them?

Latest episode was very interesting.

I'm confused now. So they traveled forward in time?

Cause the first couple of episodes is confusing with the Secret Service Agent calling Wayward Pines from Seattle.

Still enjoying this but it's not the best written show ever.

They are not traveling in time, the scientist knew this would happen so he chose select few and put them in suspended animation inside those chambers to create a new community in the future. It was all planned. The scenes we got in 2015 were the past. There is no going back.

Started off spooky, but just like in Shamalyan fashion ruins it. I'll still watch

I'm so glad the nurse is acting normal now. She was starting to really spook me out.

But she is crazy protective of the project, but a lot makes sense with the secrecy now. This episode made me feel better about how they are proceeding.

I hate when this type of show comes out and I'm smarter than it. I'm nearly caught up and maybe there's a change in the situation down the pipe, but there is some loose thread and it's a real problem to me.

It has some splainin to do for sure.

They had better get to it since there is only 1 episode left (not including today's which is already avail. on torrent sites)

Figured I wouldn't be the only one who thought the ending was shit. The book's ending was much better.

Dont care about spoilers,

Can someone give me a rundown of the general mystery in the show and how it ends in the show and book?

Meh, I just managed to find time to catch u, they are trying to get it going for another season or something? I would not watch either way, I doubted the show after they introduced the crazed zombies. The best episode remains the pilot.
