Both chuckers
Both have no rings

Melo had a better chance in Denver. Wasting his time and his prime. Smh.

Joe Johnson was actually an all-star last year...Wow. Terrible era for East superstars. Anyway, Joe Johnson missed the playoffs in his peak. Lol, nothing else to really add. Melo is a tier above. And I don't think Melo was ever close to MVP-level.

Stats mean nothing. Theyre both losers. 0 rings. 0 Conference final wins.

One has a cool sounding name and the other has a super generic name. That's about it.

The level of disrespect Carmelo gets makes me sick, Joe Johnson may be they most overpaid player in the last 10 years while Carmelo made the playoffs ten years in row, took the lakers to game 6 in the conference finals, 3rd in mvp voting, single handily lead his team to a national champion and one best olympic players in the Nba. this garbage threads he gets. Carmelo is a sure fire hall of famer while if Joe Johnson gets in it would be a travesty.

joe johnson is doing crap for 47 min of the game and michael jordan for the last. Carmelo shows up unlike that lazy **** joe johnson.

technically, Joe Johnson's ability to get a 3 point jump shot off and Melo's ability to use his shoulder to get to the rim for a closer attempt is what separates them, as well as makes them equal.

which also means the differences in the usage of shot clock.

in another way, I would also describe it as Johnson being a better player who creates/produce better cross court/weak side passes. While Melo being a player who seeks players' who crashes for second chance opportunities/spot shooters who can/knows how to move in and out between a 2 point shot and a 3 point shot.

side note: I really miss NBA.com's hotzone stats

stop. JJ can make clutch baskets, which is good, but dude has had way more disappearing 3-12 performances in big games than Melo.

I say Melo is better and he's going to show up more than JJ. JJ is a better passer, tho.

Last shot, gimme JJ if it's a ball in your hands situation, but Melo if you can get him the ball as an iso triple threat.

Durant deliberately gave him the points leader for a season. Anthony is a ballhog, nothing more.

Anthony has literally done nothing whatever to get in the Hall.

Nothing. Zip. Zilch. He's a Zero.

People shitting on Carmelo way more than they shit on Chris Paul. Carmelo is an offensive machine, it's the pieces that make him look so shit. He's not a leader also. But otherwise, he's talented as fck.

What has he done to guarantee an entrance into the hall?

He's an 8 time all star, former scoring champion, gold medalist, and if he retired now he'd have averaged 25ppg for his career.

There is actually quite a large difference between these two player and i've never really got a chucker vibe from JJ.

Melo is an immensely talented scorer but is more black holish than JJ

JJ was more of a jack of all trades type player and a better ball handler/distributor than Melo

:oldlol:

More than enough to consider the hall's standards.

His NCAA title and Olympic medals (one of which he holds a team USA record) have probably secured a place already. He adds a NBA title to his resume (where contributes a lot to it) down the road and he would have more than cemented his place.

See above. The hall isn't just NBA resume. It's the basketball hall of fame.

Even his NBA resume would be decent enough to get in and he can still add to it.
