Imagine a world where you automatically get notified when someone posts in a thread you've posted in or posts in a thread you've made.
Go to User CP, Edit Options, and look for Default Thread Subscription Mode. Select "No Email Notifications" and boom. Every thread you ever post in from here on out will give you a notification (every time you click User CP a "subscribed threads" section will show up revealing which threads you've posted in/subscribed that have had recent activity). You could even one up this and select to get instant, daily, or weekly email notifications. Meaning if you've got a smartphone setup right you could even get live ISH updates from your ****in phone. This does this automatically every thread you will ever post in, you don't have to manually subscribe to anything.
I've known about this since I started posting here, but apparently it isn't the default setting so most of you are probably clueless this exists and only see threads on the first page if you are lucky. Most of you probably miss when someone bumps a thread if you've not logged on for a few days. Boooring. Enhance your ISH experience TODAY with NOTIFICATIONS!
