I hate the Warriors now, but I loved watching Monte play for them. He was one of my favorite players at the time. He was exciting to watch and he gave it his all for that team each and every night. He was the true alpha, and made Curry look like a punk ass beta.

Why, when he is moving the team across the bay and to top that off they probably wont have a championship parade in Oakland if they win it all. Nice kick in the teeth to fans that supported the team for 40+ years in the East Bay.

This. it's understandable since Monta was popular among the fans. He played as hard as anyone in the league.

It was a high risk, high reward move. Bogut is a game changer on defense and GS didnt have that for a very long time but he was never healthy. Monta brought GS good seasons but he also had injury problems.

Turned out to be worth the risk, but fans are never going rational about anything even when they win it all. Also, the smarter basket fans can always predict things that a front office can IMO.

haha, the spurs have a 30 min tv show on fox sports southwest called "spurs insider". rockets and mavs have one also on their respective channels.

in the show there is a segment called "fans on the streets" or something like that where they ask fans a bunch of questions.

basic questions like who is leading the team in 3pointers made... and some fan will say tim duncan lol. its like dude, think about the question.
