Curry being number 1 obviously.

When you're shooting 44% for the season, it's very possible.

Curry being number 1 obviously.

he must be consistent with his shot, this is his big problem,if he fix that then he has a chance to become the 2nd greatest

I'll take Ray and Reggie over Klay.

Not for me, he can't create his own 3-point shot at all. He won't be the best 3-point shooting SG ever, forget about #2 overall.

If we're ignoring creating your shot off the dribble, who are the best spot ups of all time?

Korver, Curry, Ray, Reggie, Klay?

Hmm, Ive seen him rise up and chuck 3s at a pretty good clip. Or at least, I never think he's going to miss. He cant dribble to create his own 3s though.

Since we're making up some criteria for the hell of it... youtube some of Vince Carter's game tying and game winning 3's. Has anyone in history had more range at SG than him ? Or at any position period ?

not unless he does it in the playoffs, he has one big game against the spurs before

he could heat up with the best of them tho

I wanna say Korver, but I think Curry could do what he did in a similar system.

Do you not think Curry has unlimited range?

He probably does, but I don't know if Steph has hit the same type of game winners Vince has hit over his career. They had some ridiculous range and tough contests.

Most of the ridiculous range shots ive seen Curry hit are in practice videos so they are uncontested. Vince has it in game though.

He could be, Thompson's stroke is absurd. When he gets it going he makes it look totally effortless. The thing about Klay is he has a quick and high release making it almost impossible to contest. He can shoot 3 pointers in the face of long defenders better than anyone in the league.

Tmac. Must be in that family blood. Also Arenas. Those three would consistently bomb it from 5+ feet behind the arc just for the hell of it.

Hell no. He isn't close to the shooter Korver or Petrovic were.

Not on the level of Ray Allen or Reggie either.

I still think Nash is the GOAT

People who say its not even close are delusional. Acting like Klay is a scrub and doesnt deserve to be in the competition when he actually has a good case if he maintains his level of play for 10+ years.

Also lets not forget that Klay also had the most impressive shooting quarter in NBA history that no one is close to matching so far

Where do people get this idea that Ray was ever a spot up shooter before he was way past his prime? He was creating his own shot or coming off screens the majority of his career. He was never a spot up 3pt shooter until he was old.
