Averages 1 assist every 50 minutes!?

Also, shoots 30% from 3, where is the knockdown shooter everyone is talking about?

Bust if I ever saw one.

he is the next Darko. I pity the team that drafts this unpronounceable name.

The Dirk comparison always pisses me off. Every tall white Euro with a J gets compared to Dirk. Dirk was pretty beastly from a physical standpoint as a young player. Broad shouldered and quick. That's why he's always lived at the line.

In terms of big guys who can shoot the ball a little, why is this guy getting touted over guys like Myles Turner and Kaminsky? Both look better as prospects, more athletic, and just have better NBA ready bodies.

This guy really isn't anything special. I just don't see it.

I always have a hard time counting players out and calling them busts outright before they have a chance to prove themselves. Porzingis is very young and perhaps his development will be very fruitful for whichever team selects him.

However, my question throughout this entire process with Porzingis is: what about him now leads one to believe with such certainly that he'll undoubtedly turn into an outstanding NBA player? I've been searching for the can't-miss with him and I've come up empty, outside of his length and size. There's a number of things I've seen him do that make me say "That's nice." But nothing that's made me go, "Wow, this guy's going to be awesome."

It's hard for me to go too in-depth, since I haven't watched his games in full, but it seems there's many people who also haven't watched him in full but remain excited at his prospects.

Sidenote, watching that USA vs. the World game from '98 embedded in the original link...

Luis Scola may have looked older at age 18 than he does now.

Another Euro bum. Doesn't it get tiring and old for NBA scouts?

Dude is the next Jan Vesely. Take that shit to the bank.
