I don't see it happening. Kobe will probably just play the year out and go from there, I don't see him as the type of a guy that says he's retiring at the beginning of the season. He'll probably want to see how competitive the team is and how his health holds up, if he can avoid another big injury and the team is contending for the Playoffs with Clarkson and whoever we draft is not a bust, I see him staying around.
