I'm not sure which comes first and i'm sure there's some interrelationship between people that aren't happy with their gender and people that are driven to suicide...

i'm certainly not qualified to comment but i'd guess that the type of people who are unhappy enough with themselves to do something as radical as changing their gender identity also find afterwards that the change wasn't what they expected and are still unhappy with their lives... maybe the stigma that comes along with being a transgender overrides the happiness they get or something like that or a combination of things...

i dunno, it's way over my pay grade to understand it all :lol
