This is why 2011 finals for lebron and 2004 finals for Kobe are a big black mark on their resume.
This also shows that 2009 and 2010 Lakers cast around kobe was better than 2012,2013 cast for Miami around lebron.
Hakeem and dirk are the only ones who won without much help.

Considering it was made by statistics, it's a pretty good list

Yeah, this is sorta flawed because 2011 wasn't deep, couldn't shoot, and couldn't rebound for shit.12 & 13 were much better. Then again, Wade and Bosh were fantastic. Maybe it offsets? Doubtful.

What is the average teammate rating ? Is there a way to calculate that ?

If it went further back, you'd see '75 Rick Barry and '84 Bird also at the bottom there... Both won it all.

If you check the Celtics' Box+/- for the full 1984 Playoffs at basketball reference, Larry sits at +10.2 and then you got Cornbread with +2.5 , Henderson +1.5, McHale and Carr +1.1, Chief +0.6 and the rest all negative... Only played for and won with stacked teams though :lol Check who they were facing too, and check all them other stats as well, plus watch the games while you're at it.

I'm not sure if Box +/- is factored here.

Dirk didn't even lead his team in Box +/- for the 2011 Playoffs (he was 5th with a 3.8), yet he ranks near the top (or bottom) of this list.

Wow, this thread blew my mind. Clicking on this thread and seeing the pic, I thought it was only going to be a Top 10. Then I scrolled down and kept seeing Lebron's name over and over and over. This stat truly shows how pathetic Lebron is for colluding in the weakest conference and only going 2/6. #NoExcuses

2008 Lakers without Ariza and Bynum are a better supporting cast than 2013 Heat?

Bosh and Wade didn't play well in 2013 playoffs

Wade 16/4.6/4.8 46% fg
Bosh 12/7.3/1.5 46% fg

vs 2008 Lakers

Gasol 17/9.3/4 53% fg
Odom 14.3/10/3 49% fg

So you're telling me, the 2014 Spurs who had the most dominant finals performance ever, didn't even crack this list? Duncan GOAT.

Crazy that 2013, Duncan had one of the best casts in history, and LeBron had a mediocre cast.

Also, 3ball avoiding this thread like the plague :lol

Why the f*ck is the 2004 Lakers listed as "Kobe's" team?

Be consistent. If you want to be f*gs and discredit Kobe about his 3 rings won with Shaq then that should be listed as Shaq's team.

So it's Shaq's team when they win, but it's Kobe's team when its a superteam that is upset in the finals?

No one, except whoever it was who wrote it, recognize the 04 Lakers as Kobe's team. Even Kobe knows it's not his team.

04 Shaq was not the player he was from 00-02. Not even close. Kobe was very arguably the best player on that team. It's not that crazy.

The problem with 2004 is Karl Malone's injury and Kobe rape trial.

Kobe had 1-2 good games per series. Outside of that he struggles in every single one.

This is so heavily skewed that I can't believe anyone would actually invest stock into it. Do you people really think the Glove's Sonics team had more talent than the Bulls? You think Barkley's suns? Duncan/Kawhi's spurs over the Heatles? Iverson over 2001 LAKERS?! The list goes on. It's a joke.
