I remember back in the day when the Kobe vs LeBron rivalry was going strong, at the start of every season people would predict a Kobe vs LeBron finals.

It's pretty amazing though how Kobe didn't make the Finals in 2007 and coincidentally that year LeBron made the finals.

In 2008 Kobe was in the Finals.
LeBron was just 1 game away from meeting with Kobe in the Finals but he lost to the Celtics who went on to win the championship.
Celtics Big 3 pretty much owned both Kobe and LeBron :roll:

2009. Kobe makes the Finals once again.
LeBron gets owned by Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic.
Kobe wins the championship.

2010. Kobe is in the Finals again.
Boston owns LeBron again. Kobe beats the Celtics this time around.
Kobe has won 2 in a row.

2011. Finally LeBron reaches the NBA Finals after joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Free Agency.
Kobe loses to the Mavericks who go on to wreck the Heat in the Finals.

2012. The East from this point on becomes garbage since 3 of the the top 10 best players in the Conference decided to team up.
LeBron has an easy ride to the Finals.
Kobe loses to OKC.
The Miami Heat go on to beat OKC.

2013. LeBron free ride to the Finals again.
Kobe loses to the Spurs.
Miami beats the Spurs to give LeBron his second ring.

2014. LeBron free ride again.
Kobe's career starts winding down.
Spurs beat Miami.

2015. LeBron free ride again.

Golden State sweeps LeBron which leads to LeBron's retirement due to his inability to bring a championship to his hometown.
