"Soft"? Yeah... soft. Dude's been battling all playoffs to be out there and giving what he can give.
He's playing on an injured knee. There was a distinct chance it would be re-injured tonight. He played so well too, and that's what really hurts. But, "soft" he is not.

This would have been a nice series... At this point The Cavs will be lucky to win one game in the series... The Warriors just have way too much firepower and a very good defense... Great game tonight:rockon:

The guy isn't soft ... He is out there giving his best.. He was hobbling most of the game so I am sure he was in a good deal of pain.... I GIVE HIM CREDIT :applause:

They'll play better without him. Just watch.
Dude is nice as an iso player, but he makes more dumb plays than JR Smith. Has tunnel vision 90% of the game and makes the wrong basketball play most of the time.
Bron with Delly out there, ball in his hands more, and he is the one creating with shooters out there? They will do better.

Kyrie, Love and AV are all injury prone. That's why I was fawking pissed that the team traded for Love when the team already had 2 injury prone players.

Horrible analysis. Bron was out of gas several times out there and you think the answer is to ride him more...smh

He won't be taking 38 shots with Kyrie out.
He'll have more energy creating for others than taking more shots and posting up constantly.
PS - you suck.

I agree with OP -- series looks to be over. That was a sad ending to game 1, after it looked like Lebron might be capable of pushing this team improbably to a championship. Now it's clear they don't have enough. If Kyrie is out, Warriors in 5 max.

what's the logic behind that, he will get less shots without the guy that takes the 2nd most shots?
Warriors are playing him like I said they would. Sagging off him and allowing him to shoot 3s, single coverage to make him shoot mid-range jumpers, closing in on his teammates.
The way to stop Bran is stopping his teammates :confusedshrug:

Cavs collapsed with Kyrie. +5 when he was on the court, -11 when he was off

If Golden State gives Bran single coverage like that again the shooters will be taken out again. Plus theres no Kyrie to cut and scramble the defense offball or be able to score in so many ways. Plus Kyrie was arguably the Cavs best defensive player in game 1

Are you serious or trolling right now? Delly was awful tonight... AWFUL. Kyrie was far better than him on both ends, which is why Kyrie was forced to play 44 minutes when they probably preferred to keep him in the 30-35 minute range.
Every time he went to the bench, the Warriors went on a run. Every time. Delly was -13 in 9 minutes... Kyrie was +5 in 44 minutes.
So I'm going to assume you're trolling.

When GS's defense is on a roll, you can't expect to survive with two chuckers playing into their strategy. Kyrie is better than JR, but he's the one who is injury prone, so the Cavs will have to make do with Earl Joseph Smith.
Even if we chalk up the OT collapse to the momentum changing+the home court advantage, Golden State is just a much better team from top to bottom. I don't expect to see Lebron playing significantly better than he did tonight.
4-1 GS. And that's because I'm feeling generous.

Did anyone else even shoot in the 2nd half? He had the ball the entire game, I don't think more Lebron is the answer.

He only shot the ball 38 times. Obviously, the only reason the Cavs lost was because Kyrie was contributing to the offense. Those were all possessions where LeBron could be shooting or driving and kicking. Yes, the Cavs were +5 in Kyrie's 44 minutes, but they were -3 in LBJ's 46 minutes... wait a minute.

Also if Bran had went to the post or drove against the defender he was 4-12 against for whole game, instead of shooting an offbalanced left leaning 30ft fadeaway that OT prolly wouldnt have happened and Kyrie wouldnt have gotten hurt with Cavs up 1-0

There are about 50-60 better players than Varejao
He is getting paid nearly 10M a year
Maybe Cavs can catch Phil Jackson slipping and trade Andy and Irving to the Knicks for Trash and #4 or even to Philly or Lakers.
I think Lakers make the deal #2 for Irving in a heart beat they are anxious to get back to the playoffs.
The 9M saved from Varejao can be used to resign Smith and Mozgov
Russell / Mudiay - JR Smith - Lebron - Love - Mozgov

Sucks cause Kyrie was really looking great today. He was giving me hope that it would be a great series. He was having some trouble finishing around the rim, but he did have a couple blocks on Steph including that huge one at the end. Just his hustle/effort was admirable, but the fact that he's on crutches isn't good.

:oldlol: You're calling me out for laughing at this? He's taking 34/35 shots and 18 and 12 FTA since game one. And they're not winning because of their offense improving. Game 2 was the worst offensive rating in a finals win ever. Aaand he doesn't have more energy :oldlol:

Says I was trolling, then backtracks to this.
34 and 35 are both less than 38. Just so you know. Called that.
He is creating more and they are spacing on offense. Called that too.
I said they'd play better as a team. Called that one as well.

Anyway, I don't think the Cavs will win, think it goes to 7 though.

Semantics, he also shot 18 FTs with 35 shots which is more possessions used to score than game 1.
All you mentioned was offense..which had an opposite effect. You can't take credit for the Cavs stepping up their defense and shutting down Curry. And Lebron isn't saving any damn energy out there :oldlol:
