Durant would take over and win. Also, he usually play his best against GS.

Cavs out in 2nd round against Bulls.
And this game would have gotten to overtime with Durant instead of Lebron.

Cavs are out in the 2nd round. Durant failed to win a title with Westbrook and Harden. Two future MVP Candidates.

The game wouldn't even have went to overtime. Team Durant would've won by at least 15

Golden State tried a similar defensive game plan on KD......except they gave him more doubles and help in that game with no Westbrook starting 2 of the worst offensive players in the NBA in Porkins (worst in the league on offense) and Thabo and he dropped 54 on 28 shots (68/56/85) with OKC scoring over 120..............game was over with him resting on the bench with minutes to go

they also tried the same thing to a one legged KD this season and he dropped 30 in 18mins (13 shots) before getting injured again

KD is clutch but MJ / Bird / Reggie are the ultimate clutch players. MJ the GOAT clutch player of course.

Durant would smash golden state. He rarely ever has trouble putting points on the board....

Curry wouldnt even be mvp if durant played this season

Reggie > Dirk in clutch.
Hell no. Dirk 11 is as clutch as any MJ or Bird playoff run. He leads clutch 22-4 runs by himself to close out games and has played clutch D too. Reggie might be the GOAT clutch shotmaker but hes 1 dimensional. MJ, Larry and Dirk were epic in clutch in many areas

Wasn't that a game winner Durant had shortly after being down 8 in double OT?

You can't necessarily just use regular season performances to gauge what a player will do against the same team in the playoffs. The defense is going to be much more calculated and focused. However, Durant over the last 2-3 years, seems to play some of his best basketball against the Warriors. Last year it was the 54 point game. This year it was 30 points in 18 first half minutes before getting injured. Two years ago it seemed like he flirted with 30 point triple-doubles on good efficiency every time they played the Warriors. It's part of the reason I would've been more confident than I probably should've been had Durant ever got healthy this year, got back to 100% (or close), and the Thunder played the Warriors in the 1st round.

If Durant was healthy the Thunder would have been the Warriors toughest opponent in the whole playoffs. Hell there is a good chance they lose in round 1 to a healthy Durant and don't even make it this far.

He's been playing great defense since the lockout season but it seems like one of those things the media either hasn't cared enough to take note of or it just seems like they already have their mind made up about him based on his frame, rather than realizing how ridiculous his length is which allows him to be a great defender.

Its crazy how 1 players injury drastically changed the landscape of the entire season/playoffs
