Instead of defending him "no matter what"
That's what you young'ns do not get. I serious. I rooted against MJ hardcore, and I had friends who rooted for him.
And let me tell you, no matter what was happening, those guys stayed 1000% cocky and arrogant and confident to the point of being downright irritating.
We'd be seeing threads like "Should GSW just forfeit game 2?" -- it's a different age folks.

If this were MJ, he would've made sure the Bulls won Game 1 and crushed the heart of this young Golden State team.

You can only have it one way or the other
If you say Lebron plays in a weakass conference and thats the only reason he's in the finals, then it should be natural the stronger conference wins

Rodman played like sh*t in the last two Bulls title Finals
2.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg in 1997 (Jordan had 7 rpg himself)
3.3 ppg, 8 rpg in 1998
Pippen was injured half way through the 98 Finals too.
MJ just got the job done.

6 of those losses were against Bird's Celtics, one of the greatest teams of all time and better than any team LeBron has ever faced.

GSW are an all-time great team also.
This is why I said Jordan would lose against this year's gsw.
He was 1-9 against great teams without his stacked cast.

In all seriousness, if this were MJ, he would have gotten a better game winning shot. Don't known if he would make it or not, that's not the issue, but he would have executed perfectly to get a better shot off.

Would he have gotten a chance to try to win the game with a game-winner though? Thats the question that can never be awnsered
You can't just swap lebron and jordan-> so many ripple effects would occur. Different schemes, etc

1-9 proves it.
1-9 meaning a young MJ not even in his prime leading scrubs against a very good team in the 80s Bucks and one of the GOAT teams in the 86 Celtics.
Meanwhile, your boy Bron is about to be 2/6 (should be 1/6, he needs to name his next son after Ray Allen).

You can't swap players, since the teams are built for them, so we have to look at what how would MJ perform in that situation. And I'm not talking about Lebron's clutchness, but ability to create a shot at will, compared to Jordan.

This is so true. LeBron hit a fade away 3pter against the Bulls but as a defense, you take your chances with those kinds of shots. He obviously missed last night, a fade away 3pter isn't a high percentage shot, he's gonna miss way more than make those kinds of shot. You never saw MJ take those kinds of shot if their was enough time in the clock to work himself into a better position.

You are such a idiot, seriously, in a game where Lebron actually had some nice post moves, you post a clip where everything he does is ugly and awkward.
I get it was the only time where there was a small effort in help defense by GSW. You're trying to prove he had a hard time lol

Many of you are missing the point I was trying to make.
My point was to criticize LBJ FANS, not LBJ himself. Not to compare him as a player to MJ, but to compare his fans to MJ fans.
Again, if this were MJ, nobody would be saying 1-9 or any crap like that. They would be saying "Keep watching, I'll bump this thread in a few weeks." Because MJ fans were absurdly confident and cocky. If you guys really think LBJ is one of the best 5 ever to play, you need to get your pulse down and chill out a bit, let it ride.

otoh, it would be amazing to see someone with actual post moves, like Bird, McHale or Jordan, face the 1-defender strongsides today's spacing provides as a standard (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=378398)..
can you imagine wilt with the setup shown in the GIF above (1-defender strongside)?... :facepalm

Lebron fans are just insecure cause he has let them down multiple times
Sure he has lived up to the expectations before but they still remember the multiple times Lebron choked and all the ridicule they had to take from
Kobe and MJ fans... Thus they let out their anger on MJ and Kobe rather than the source itself
Lbj
It's like the bully in elementary school who gets beat up by his Pop so he takes out his anger on the kids at school
Lbj isn't MJ, he won't ever be...: just enjoy the man and stop watching his career with such animosity
