Whether you're a non-partisan, LeBron stan, LeBron hater, or GS fan boy.... if tonight was any indication of what this series will look like then we're up for a hell a duel.

Let's be honest... We're due for an all out war. This post season has been rather vanilla for the most part. The Conference Finals matches were pitiful on both sides.

I hate to be that guy, but kudos to both teams for bringing it tonight. I just wanna be effn entertained dammit!

Should be a good series if Kyrie is ok. If not,

In the same boat. Tonight was a great game outside of a disappointing OT.

Here's to a great series. :applause:

I really hope he's capable of holding up. I don't wanna read a litany of excuses from either side. As a fan with no bias here (I repeat) I just wanna be fricken entertained...

Doubt it. GSW had Finals nerves/jitters. Losing Kyrie and an OT loss is demoralizing. I expect GSW to go up 3-1 in this series and close out in 6 in Cleveland.

It's likely that Kyrie is out for the whole series. He's getting an MRI tomorrow.

I don't think it will be that big of a duel if Kyrie is unable to play. Tonight was fun though.

Cavs done themselves huge disservice by losing opener, could've had momentum+home court, stats not in their favor either pertaining teams losing Gm1 in Finals. Even worse, GS can rebound the ball, meaning they -LeBron specifically- need to shoot lights out to win Gm2.

It was looking like an incredible matchup until the Kyrie incident. Now it is looking all but over. Delly could play against Atlanta and even Chicago with some success. Golden State is a different animal and he'll get eaten alive, as he did tonight (-13 in 9 minutes, ouch).

On one play, this went from a potential epic series to a potentially short and painful one.

I would agree if it wasn't for that injury. I would be VERY surprised if Kyrie returns. He wouldn't even be on the court for game 1 if it was just a regular season game, he was already hobbled and to re-injure yourself like that...man that's tough, it didn't look good.

The only thing more entertaining than OP's feels is when lebaldo is losing in the finals. 2/6 is a priceless thing and its coming soon... very soon. The tears will be real and epic!

Cavs definitely deserve to be here.
Yeah they play really hard. Only 3 of their players from tonight (LBJ Kyrie and JR) are guys I would call talented and Jr is an idiot. It's not just LeBron, though, they play with passion as a team, if it always intelligently. But without Kyrie, LeBron will have to do more than I think he is capable of.

That's what I was saying. I mean it's not a ground breaking assertion or anything, but stealing the first game on the road is invaluable.

The Cavs are gunna need Bron to bring his A+ game ever step of the way if their gunna stand a chance here. Especially with Kyrie sitting..

Initial tests show no damage to Kyrie's ACL/MCL (http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2015/story/_/id/13016229/kyrie-irving-cleveland-cavaliers-exits-apparent-leg-injury).

I think they're still waiting on the MRI for legitimate confirmation but I hope he avoids a serious injury. A meniscus tear would be series ending too. Hopefully he just tweaked it, we'll have to wait and see.

Lebron can do all this and that but withoug Kyrie? It would be an L. If he keeps playing at this pace without KI, he'll tire himself out early and goes the rest of the team.

This was the game the Cavs had to have, on the road, LeBron playing great, Kyrie playing and playing well, GS not on it's A game, this was the game they had to win to take home the title imo. Now Kyrie's out, and I'd be surprised if this series even goes 6 games.

Shit sucks, that was an incredible game through regulation. Besides the 2/6 fanatics, basketball fans really lost tonight. This series with a Cavs win tonight/healthy Kyrie really looked like it had the potential to be a classic.
