Key players are going down left and right. This can't just be an unlucky phase. Why is this happening?
It is an unlucky phase. People get injured all the time, some are freak injuries like Love and Korver, others from overexhortation like Kyrie.
Nothing new in any sport. I dont think there is anything to suggest there are more injuries. The injury gods dont take into account how key someone is

What if it is the key players, that work hardest and overdo it at the gym and during practice?

Which key players are out because of this though? Durant maybe? Kyrie got injured in game and has been playing on it since.
You got freak accidents like Bosh, Korver, Love, Conley, Paul George. Shit happens...

Injuries always happen. Maybe two seasons from now less key players will have injuries. Not a big deal, injuries happen all the time.

I'm not sure why, but people should remember this the next lockout season. People always talk about lockout season injuries and forget seasons like this.

Didn't the NBA announce they are starting HGH testing recently? Could be a case of league-wide weaning. I've never seen a season where so many guys all went down with injury at the same time.
