There is a very big difference between being simply 6'8" - 260.... and being LEBRONs 6'8" - 260.... having his body / athleticism.... there was nobody in NBA history who was that athletic AT THAT SIZE and over....

Prime Jordan's combination of speed/quickness/strength/vertical/cardio was comparable to prime Lebrons athleticism (minus strength).... but that was at his ~6'5-6'6 & 190-200 lbs self...... Adding simply more height with 60 or whatever lbs would more likely decrease his speed/quickness/explosion/vertical leap & coordination/footwork.... although add some strength....

His game could change dramatically....

Bron is to the small forward position what Shaq was to the center position. Absolutely physically dominates, but he has no business being compared to MJ.

I remember Reggie in the 90s was once asked about his weight, he said he refused to put on weight/muscle because it would mess up his shooting touch & running/cardio... the secret to great shooting is correct mechanics & most importantly consistency in how the shot looks in every single way, a change to the mechanics means re-adjusting and hence you will decrease shooting % and all the time trying to gain it back.... instead of allowing it to be as it is and hence your further work just improves it.... and Reggie was also a damn marathon runner which he depended on to outrun his opponent & slither through screens entire days to get open..... being Arnold Schwarzenegger would not helped....

Putting MJ simply at 6'8-6'9 and 250-270 would only decrease his athleticism in every single way (except for strength).... it would affect his perimeter abilities, jumpshot, driving/slashing, finishing, footwork and hence also ballcontrol.... this could/would lead to him playing PF, total change of game... being more of a postup guy, a true big man... there would be no more "aesthetics" for Jordan.... there would be nore more Jordan as we know him...

But giving him Lebrons body just like that, is different, his athleticism at that size is an anomaly... then he indeed could perhaps been better, maybe....

Pretty much this. If MJ was lebron's size he would lose quickness, agility, and fludity, all the things that he was all time ekite at.

If I was as good as MJ, and 7'6 350 lbs, I would average 50/20/10 in the Finals.

How would being bigger and stronger suddenly make him a more capable and willing passer? If anything he'd get in the post more and average less assists. Plus he'd lose a lot of athleticism, unless you're saying he keeps the same athletic ability with a bigger body, in which case let's give LeBron MJ's body and give him even more foot speed, jumping and explosive ability and see what he averages.

pretty sure he'd be another player. he'd lose some of his skills and gain a few others.

If Iverson were 8'7", he probably would have averaged more rebounds

I thought it went without typing that mj would keep all his skills and athleticism.

Being that big bron just bullies. Not as much fOnk as mj.

Mj with same athleticism and skill set that he had would murk the league.

Shit , even if they had same athleticism, mjs skill set was so much better.

My point.

^This shit is so retarded

if Curry was 6'8" 260 and kept all his skills and quickness, he'd be the GOAT already.

If Nate Robinson was 7' with the same athleticism, he'd average 35/15/8  we can do this shit all day.

If I was 7' with the same athleticism, I'd be a millionaire pro ball player.

This would be a very scary player. This player would put up Oscar Robertson numbers in today's league.
