With Kyrie out, the media is saying that Lebron might have to win this on his own.

Lebron is great, but that's really disrespectful to the rest of the Cavs who are playing. What, are they not playing defense, rebounding and scoring some? Should Lebron be the only one out there?

The media sucks. Here's the truth. The Cavs aren't winning if Lebron has to win it "on his own". They're only going to win if other guys step up, like they were in the EC playoffs.

Nobody on the Cavs should be trusted to score 15 a game. Of course they will have to step up, but which player on the Cavs can you say should be trusted to reach 15?

Which player on the Cavs can be trusted to dribble?

Warriors are an all time great stacked team. Who is the 2nd option for the Cavs with Kyrie out? JR Smith? He would be the worst 2nd option to ever win a title.

How so? Kobe put up JR type of numbers in 2000.

Warriors are not an all time great stacked team. They have been more well rounded teams since the early 2000s. I would argue that the 2005 Spurs overall had more talent than this team.

Warriors are stacked with depth not talent nessarily. They were the number 1 offense (I think they fell to two as the Clippers played their starters way more minutes) and defense. Record and rating wise they are a top 5 team ever.

Shumper and JR can be trusted to consistently bring 15-18 ppg a game if LeBron plays less selfish in other games.
Thompson can go for 14-15.
Mozgov is good for 10-12.
Delly with 7-8 points.
You got yourself a team here, a good team, that will underperform if their leader doesn't find a way to get them involved.

Lebald has more than enough talent around him to win

The Warriors have only one star player, he just makes everyone around him better

Not really. Jr Smith is gonna have big games and small ones. I thought the Cavs made a mistake letting him take all those overtime shots, but I get the mentality. He is a big shot maker and had some good looks and bad.

He's the only person that can get to 15 points and will now that Kyrie is out.

Delly, Mozgov, Thomspon, and Shumpert cant be relied upon to score 10.

As if the media cared about players getting disrespected.

"might have to win this on his own"

no one in the NBA wins Finals series on their own, especially against the Golden State Warriors.

He's getting 40+ points because he is allowed open looks, the opposing team is focused on locking down his teammates, not him.

Horry was a rookie. Little more than an energy guy at that point.

Clyde wasn't on the team for the 1st chip.

Otis Thorpe was a lower-energy Tristan Thompson at that point in his career.

Mad Max was a point guard version of what JR Smith has been doing.

The media has been doing this with LeHype since day 1. Even when he bailed and teamed up with 2 other superstars they were giving credit mostly to LeHype. And his fanboys eat it up by the spoonful. That' why majority of true basketball fans are not a fan of his.

Mozgov played great, as did Kyrie. LeBron still has help out there even with Kyrie out. Other players will step up in addition to Mozgov.

I remember when Lebron single handedly carried the Cavs in 2007 to the Finals. Oh, except Boobie Gibson dropping 30+ points. That is swept under the rug, because Lebron did it all alone. Media wants to love who they wanna love.

Outside of that game, Gibson never scored over 21 points the entire '07 season/playoffs, but I guess a 1 game sample is more accurate than 80

This has the potential to be the worst Finals since '07.
