Trailer looked good to me. I didn't realize it was a remake until i read the YouTube comments.
Wouldn't pay to see this.. Hit or miss

This can't be real. F*cken Hollywood seems bankrupt of ideas, and would rather bank on successful films of the past than gamble with screenwriters and scripts that are unproven. Hopefully this is just a phase but with technology changing so fast, who knows, filmmaking might not ever reach the same heights of creativity that we'd assume it could.
Streaming tv has been the new dominant medium, for me at least.

Oh sh1t i have watched the original one. Keanue on a surf board brought back the memories. It wasnt all that great tbh tho, why is everyone getting there panties in a bunch? This new one looks a lot different as well

tv's been way more memorable for me the last few years. Films seem like good fun every now and then but I'm never excited for or by any of them.

Action movies are just way over the top these days. People enjoy good writing and acting... even in our action movies. Seems like it's just explosions from start to finish anymore. :confusedshrug:
