View Full Version : It's not Warriors fault that Blatt played a hobbled Kyrie 43+ minutes

43 fricking minutes! before the accident took place. He would have ended up playing close to 50 minutes if it weren't for the injury. This isn't game 7 of the finals. This is entirely Blatt's fault.

The Warriors are indeed very fortunate to not suffer any serious injury all season along, but how can you not give credit to the coaching staff for great time management of their players.

I genuinely wanted Kyrie to be 100% for the series to be entertaining and it pissed me off that the Warriors are not given the opportunity to beat the Cavs at its full strength.

The Cavs are pretty much guaranteed to return to for the finals next a couple of years, with or without love; but it will be a lot more difficult for the Warriors. So we may never see this match up ever again.

F you David:mad:
oh and Olynyk

Dellavedova was garbage and Irving was looking great

if the Cavs won in regulation, no one would care about his minutes and half of ISH would be calling Bran the GOAT

It's the FINALS, everybody's dealing with some physical issues at this point. Irving could have pulled himself out if he felt he couldn't go. He was just unlucky on the play because IIRC he bumped knees, which probably caused the injury. It could have happened the first minute of the game, it's not like he was progressively looking worse each minute until his body just gave in, it was one play that could have happened to anyone, just like Kobe when he tore his achilles in 2013. Everyone blamed D'Antoni for not giving him rest/pulling him out of the game but achilles injury is random, just like an ACL tear.

People are always looking for someone to blame... Just call it bad luck and move on from it, Blatt doesn't wish injury on his 2nd best player and neither do the Warriors and Kyrie wanted to be out there and Kyrie wanted to help his team win the Finals. His father and his agent might have a problem with them putting him out there with him not being all that healthy, but at the end of the day it's up to him and the medical staff. He went out there, knowing that he could risk injury. Anyone can get injured at any point.
