I see a lot of haters bashing LeBron but praising Wade for being a "true winner", but if you guys give LeBron's two titles asterisks, why does no one bring up the fact that Wade would have three asterisk titles then?

Wade also got saved and gifted two rings because of the lockout and Ray Allen's 3 (retarded argument but it's yours, not mine) and we all know the refs were all over 2006. So why is it that we hear so much about LeBron's 2 "asterisks" but not Wade's 3?

Why the double standard?

Keyword: Lebron...when a figure becomes a threat to them, the easiest scapegoat is to push ridicule their way. Basically said, they're b!tchmade :D

Because nobody cares about Wade. He's not a threat to anyone's favorite player. LeBron on the other hand is, so it's all about undermining him.

Basically, yeah. I just find it funny to point out the hypocrisy and watch the haters backpedal.

Wade > Pippen

and you'd have to be a damned fool to argue the opposite.

Wade is one epic LeChoke away from having 4 rings, 2 FMVP's. Just 1 ring away from Kobe at that point.

Lebron robbed him of his 2nd Finals MVP. Wade would be sitting here with 2 Finals MVP & 4 Rings. One less than Kobe and he would be solidified as a Top 15 Player All-Time.

Droid101 and Hamtaro from that Wade thread last night sparked this but i've seen it before on and off this board.

I usually never even bother making threads, especially about LeBron, but the hypocrisy is killing me lately. I'm not one of those guys who think LeBron is GOAT or above Kobe all time yet or anything, but to downplay him for things he can't control and then prop up his sidekicks when they, for the most part, went through the same things he did is silly.

How are you so sure they would have even made the Finals without LeBron? Way too many what-ifs with that scenario imo.

They had Mario Chalmers, a proven championship level PG. Granted, Spo refused to start him at the time because he was not yet able to fully comprehend the greatness of Rio.

If you want to blame anyone, blame the media.

Whenever LeBron plays bad, they PRAISE him and act like it's because he's not trying, bored with his own greatness, or some retarded narrative like that. Whenever his team wins, he gets all the glory for making others better, along with things like his defense getting massively overrated, etc. And whenever his team loses, the media just throws his teammates under the bus and says that he needs more help.

No superstar as good as LeBron has ever came close to being as protected by the media as he is. If they were even half as harsh with their criticisms towards him as they were with Kobe, he'd have a lot less haters.

Actually a fair point, the media sucks, but LeBron can't control the media, he can only troll the media. :lol

At that point in their Careers Wade was the better Playoff Performer and with solid players available I believe they could've made the Finals in 2011 & Potentially 2012.

For your question in the OP I wanted to add that Wade was a sidekick for the last 2 Titles(so it doesn't hold as much weight since he wasn't the leader) and his Legacy didn't improve at all from playing with Bron(Lebron benefited and his Legacy was affected the most with those 2 Titles). Lastly, they believe 2006 isn't rigged so Wade has a legit Title in their eyes.

Media was the one who crucified lebron for "the decision" even though it was on ESPN and for his 2011 chokejob.
He hasn't played bad since then so why should media not praise him for being the best in game? Do you want media to bash him for no reason at all like you idiots do?

lmfao you obviously weren't watching ball in 2011. I also don't know why you take the media so seriously and read ESPN articles all the time. All of that shit is clickbait, and you fall for it. Playing right into their agendas.

And LeBron is far from the "most protected superstar" of all time. He's the most constantly scrutinized player in the history of the game. This dude has had a microscope on him criticizing his every move. Any finals he loses, the media makes it more about him losing than the other team winning.

Durant is an example of a superstar who is far more protected. Switch their roles/careers. LeBron doesn't get a pass for losing with Ibaka, Harden, and Westbrook. 2013? LeBron doesn't get a pass for losing Westbroook for the playoffs, just like he didn't get a pass in 2012 when Bosh went out. 2014? No way LeBron gets a pass for losing with Ibaka out. If LeBron was in Durant's situation with 0 rings, his media situation would be 1000x worse than what Durant's is.

Kobe fans notoriously hate on Wade. I think due to insecurity of a few amazing seasons from Dwyane that are on par with anything Kobe did. They throw shade at Wade, when if Kobe stans were smart they would use his individual greatness to prop up Bryant, seeing as how they were the best players at their positions through out the 2000s.
