From what we've been hearing since January, Kevin Love and Lebron don't like each other:confusedshrug:

He would be a fool to stay.. Although cake walks to the finals every year would seem appealing, on the other hand he just stands in the corner to shoot 3s and has no plays ran for him..

it depends on his priorities. in terms of his reputation, he would be really silly to leave a team that will probably win a championship in the next few seasons. this series won't go long with irving out but that game one proved what this roster can do if it comes back healthy. love goes to the rockets or the celtics or wherever and this time next year he's full of regret.
to be honest given what we know of his personality, he probably likes the backseat more than the drivers. he was the new piece so he had all the attention this season, but the media won't care nearly as much next season.
on top of all that, he has a player option for next season, after which he can enter free agency as the cap skyrockets.
only reason for him to jump ship and sign a longer contract elsewhere is if he expects that shoulder to be a nagging chronic injury. that seems unlikely.
he will only stay if the wind defenders stay too

Because he has clearly stated multiple times that he's staying, it's not that hard to comprehend you f*cks.

Kevin Love will stay because the money will be better next summer and secondly now he's coming off an injury, not many teams are going to want to offer up max money to a guy until they see if he can produce
he'd be a fool to do anything but opt in for next season with the cavs and see how it goes

He broke his shoulder, and has been missed 28% of the games his pro career..not sure teams are willing to invest in him.
He'll stay this year...make a full recovery...and if he's misused next season...then yeah he'll leave.

Winning cures all ills. All indications right now is that he will stay. But it could just be PR speak and we'll see this summer.

It will be interesting as Cavs has some tough choices. The emergence of TT and how well he gelled with the team during the playoff run is something to consider. Love's ability to shoot can always be replaced. My only concern with Love is that he can barely draw a double team with this rosters which kinda defeats his purpose of bringing him on. There are alot of PF that can shoot the 3s. Keep TT and sign Bargs for the min. LoL
Seems like he's gone out of his way to say he's staying. My guess is he opts in and leaves after next year for the bigger contract. I doubt Cleveland is going to offer him that.

Yep. This seems the most likely situation.
If the Cavs win a title next year though...I bet he stays and signs for a little less than the full max.

Besides the Lakers, who would want Love?

It's the Finals. He has to say he is staying. If he did not, it would overshadow everything.

Because he called the media to tell them he's staying with cavs. :confusedshrug:

He's on a team that is good enough to contend for a championship without him.
Meanwhile, in the last game that he finished with said team, he had 23/9/3 and hit a dagger three-pointer in the final thirty seconds to go up 3-0... in his first-ever playoff series.
On his team, he plays a role that imposes far less wear-and-tear on his body (which may be slightly injury-prone) than roles he may play on other teams. This allows him the likelihood of a relatively longer career.
He seems like kind of a wallflower, or an introverted guy, and he plays with two attention-sponges whose presences allow him to play more of a supporting role.
His situation... is perfect.

thanks to tristian thompson. K love is hardly necessary anymore. they got a good tenacious defender and rebounder. kyrie and lebron are more then enough offensively. K love is talented but this team doesn't need him. he wouldnt make much of a difference against this warriors team.
