Came from a shithole proverty,joined the army...got kicked out..lived in poverty in NYC...got his big chance...went to London...and aced it

Released three Iconic rock albums..came back to US...and became the biggest rockstar on the planet....and the GOAT guitarist.....not to forget the hundreds of women he screwed and the drugs and drinks....all by the age of 27.

His life seems so mythical...it sometimes feels like I'm reading a story...for me he is the greatest musician EVER.

Yeah he wasa scum bag and a huge poser. Apparently most people hated him and made fun of how he would dress like whatever sub culture is cool but not follow through on anything.

sakevi from gism would have a good one. Not as widely known but he was a nutjob. Stabbed a fan for wearing a counterfeit shirt, atacked fans from the stage with a flame thrower, would lock the doors then through bricks at the crowd and attack them, poisoned the water at a show and people ended up in hospital. Straight up psycho.

I've heard the hendrix doco is all bullshit too, his friends and girlfriend say its all lies and the director refused their input
