Inorite? "Praying for you" is a bit over-dramatic. He's not going to die or anything.

Their careers can change drastically depending the severity of injuries or how it effects their game. That's why the rumors about Kyrie's Dad and agent being pissed at The Cavs are within ear shot.
It may not be Paul George or Shaun Livingston level injury, but in it's context it makes sense he's praying for him.

The first thing I think when I see a tweet that just says "praying for you". To me, thats overboard, much more serious than a knee injury...Hell I've torn both my knees up a million times...All I get is a, "so when will you be off your crutches"? lol...Also, I've dislocated by my kneecaps more than once and it is one of the more painful injuries. Hopefully he can come back full strength because I know I couldn't...But then again, I can't afford the best medical care in the world either......
To me it just looks like Waiters was trying to put a tweet out there to show that he has no "hard feelings" towards the Cavs. You never know, he might have thought some of their players didn't like him anymore because of some of the stuff he said before and after he was traded....Some damage control maybe but I don't know how close him and Kyrie are.....

Did any of those injuries jeopardize a promising budding NBA career?
