Is he arguably the greatest player in NBA history? Discuss.
Personally, I would say yes. As long as LeBron dominates.

Never thought I would root for LeBald.
If he wins this, he certainly makes a jump.

They won't win the series. Bron could drop 50 every game and they still wouldn't win in a 7 game series. They are too far outmatched.

Of course not. GOAT is a career thing
LeFlop has had way too many chokes, ref bail-outs and shamelessly stacked teams over the course of his entire career to ever be judged as the GOAT by anyone but his most ridiculous and moronically drooling stans.

It'd just prove how he makes all star level players like mozgov, jones and delly look like scrubs in the regular season
if lebron somehow wins this series.. he'd go down as top 3 at WORST.
missing love, kyrie, and varejao??? you kidding me? against a historically great stacked team?
only haters and kobe stans will deny it

He would be the best player ever no doubt in my mind. Every the biggest Lebron haters and Kobe stan would have to put him over Kobe.
He is already better than Kobe though. Kobe would be 4-17 right now.

And they really need to ship JR Smith out immediately, as well. Just a horrific shooter. Just KILLING his team...as he ALWAYS does.
Better off 4 vs 5 than having Smith on the floor.

I don't care for LeBron, but if he wins, then it definitely proves a lot. It shows he can take over and will his team to victory. It also would be immeasurably meaningful to the city of Cleveland.
Top 4 if he wins. Winning now would almost undo the Decision.
I've always rooted against LeBron, even up til the beginning of this game, but now I almost want to see him pull it off. Still wouldn't like him, though.

I don't know about his career ranking, but if he pulls this off...
It would be the most impressive championship run by any leader of any team that I've ever seen.

no he isn't, it's not going to change who he is
and if he did indeed even come close to winning the series, it wouldn't be because of his game but because of the play of his teammates with a combination of the Warriors simply not making shots
He's never going to be on the level of a Michael Jordan.

With JR, you get the good with the bad. When he is playing good, he can take over with his 3pt shooting. When he is stinking up the joint, he is a waste of talent.
When his 3pt shooting game was on versus Atlanta, media & Cavs players/fans/coaches were going BERSERK. Where are they now?? APB is out for them.

Winning would put him Top 5-7, losing wont affect his legacy.

Of course not. He would have one of the all-time great playoff runs though (see: Dirk, Duncan, Hakeem)
lebron winning this series would shut haters up for at least two whole weeks, so that would be a grand achievement.

Whatever happens this series, he is still not GOAT, nor even in the discussion.

They've obviously proven to be historically great in the regular season, but do you really call this a historically stacked team?? None of them have ever played a single finals game before.

lol the way Curry played tonight getting his shit pushed in by Delly you almost have to root for LeBron.
Can't hate though, Bron is finally playing the way we've all been asking him to for years. Leaving it all out there, not protecting his FG%, demanding the final shot

If this were Lebron vs an established powerhouse like say the Spurs or the Thunder, it would be more impressive, worthy of top 3 consideration
If he manages to win against this GSW team, which I don't think is going to happen, he will be floating around top 5-6 for me with a chance to move up in subsequent campaigns.

That ship sailed after 2011. But he can be a top 5 player when it's all said and done.
