View Full Version : Will Bron be able to keep up this type of play or will the fatigue catch up with him?

50 minutes tonight, 46 minutes last night. Both games he played great for 3 quarters and fell apart and looked gassed in the 4th and OT.

Is he realistically going to be able to keep dropping 40 points like that?

Top 5 all time if he pulls it off

He won't win the series, but it will be a valiant effort nonetheless, he's much better when he doesn't play to protect his FG%

Do you think Lebron deserves Finals MVP even if the Cavs lose?

Lol no because people can always point to things like his awful play in the 4th and OT as the main reasons why they didn't win.

Don't think we'll ever see a loser get the Finals MVP ever again

He's already pretty clearly fatigued.

I worry about game 3 being on Tuesday

Especially after 2 OT games. He's the oldest one on the court getting serious minutes

Cavaliers have a 2 days rest. I think they are going to use Marion in Game 3.

oh the horror

Older by age. And now factor in the amount of run he's had over the years. The guy is a friggin machine though

LeBron has amazing endurance, but it's going to be a factor. He has the most milage than anyone else on the court. Especially if this series goes 6 or 7. He will still put up great stats, but it will be a factor in crunch time like the last 2 games.

LeTired

How is he tired?

He stands on the f*ckin corner on both ends for half the game?!?

He's not a closer.

For someone who grew up watching Jordan, you sure do act like a child when LeBron plays well. Get over it. :oldlol:

I suppose I have higher standards/expectations since I did watch MJ, something some here haven't (since you brought him up).

Anybody that saw MJ play knows that he's a closer, no matter how tired he would be. Speaking of tired, MJ rarely got exhausted to the point where he was getting his shit stuffed out of him consecutively (or then again, it goes to our observation that Bron isn't a great finisher/leaper).

And more importantly, MJ had to go through more on both ends so there's more of a reason for him to be fatigued. Chasing players like Miller, Hornaceck, and others didn't allow him the privilege to sit on the corner and watch players go one on one as much. Team's strategy was to attempt to tire MJ as much as possible on the defensive end, so they'd run him through multiple screens.

When MJ was on offense, they ran multiple defenders, he faced double and triple teams, they closed in on him immediately, he faced TRUE hand checking, he got grabbed, pushed, elbowed and bumped as much as the defense could get away when he was on offense.

Bron holds the ball and isolates almost every play, with no hand checking (except for one play at the end), about 2 doubles per game, little resistance on defense and offense. How the f*ck is he tired? :biggums:

I was getting ready to give Bron props (just like I was the past game before he began to suck) but he failed to deliver at the end. Now people are making excuses cause he was 'tired'?

It has already caught up. Look at how bad he played in the second half. LeBron has gained a lot more respect from me so far
