oh, you mean the same way he'd get blown out if he only took 17 shots per game like in the 2014 Finals (as opposed to this year's 36)?

lebron is an idiot.. his basketball acumen is that of a special ed kid.

that's the only way to explain him shooting 17 times per game in the 2014 Finals: dumb.. I'm not saying he's dumb... I'm saying he was dumb in that series... really dumb

So be should've just chucked up horrible shots to get the ball in the hands of an extremely potent offense in transition? Because that's what forced shots are, horrible ones.

You're underestimating how different the 17 FGA Lebron is from the 36 FGA Lebron... It's a massive chasm that effects the whole game.

If what you said was true, GS would be blowing out the Cavs by crushing transition - you're forgetting that Lebron is shooting horrible IN THIS SERIES, yet what you said about transition isn't happening.. GS can't even get in transition at all.. What you said is false.

I'm talking about the Spurs, not the Warriors. The Spurs offense couldn't be stopped, chucking bad shots would've made it worse. Plus, Miami couldn't get an offensive rebound(outside of LeBron) in the 2014 Finals, so their offense was BUILT on taking and making the best shots possible. Cleveland is playing a slow ugly game and they have TT and Mozgoz AND a great defense. Add that and the fact that LeBron doesn't have nearly as much offensive talent as last year, and yes he'll force shots all over the court. LeBron is playing as smart and logical as ever.

At this point, mentioning Kobe in the same sentence as Lebron is an insult to Lebron.

So stop with these threads.

Kobe compares to Wade/Durant...and maybe Wiggins in the future. So you can have fun with those comparisons.

LeBron has offensive rebounding specialists, more Kobe assists available now than with Miami.. Offensive rebounds break down defences.. the other team has extra to worry about when defending LeBron.

Unlike last year, when he foolishly took 17 shots per game, as if he's a dumbass.

Also, it doesn't take any logic to go 1-on-1 on strongside, with all other defenders on weakside:

Correct. Kobe wins championships playing in the west.

Lebron wins single games or get sweept against the west.

It has, where have you been for the last 10 years? West is stronger now for at least 15 years in a row

Where is he getting the 20 extra shots from? Miami as a team averaged 71 shots a game and averaged 47% and 40%. You want LeBron to take half of those shots and shoot 40% and 35%? Yeah, Miami would've gotten swept and the Spurs would've won each game by 40+.

I've tried telling you this as you actually didn't watch the series last Finals. Miami's defense was the reason why we lost. No playmaking as well. Garbage ass coach and Wade & Bosh playing like trash didn't help either.

The game tied after one quarter played.
From there, Lebron shot like 6 for 26, scored 25 points and won the game.
So for the last 41 minutes of game time, Lebron played like Kobe in game 7.

the only similarity there between lebron/kobe is struggling from the field.

aside from that, lebron has him beat (by a fair margin) in rebounding, playmaking/assisting, defending, etc

42/12/9 > 6/24

Why just mention 6/24? The media was actually saying Kobe should be awarded FMVP even if the Lakers had lost game 7 in 2010. 30/7/4/2 56 TS% through 6 games.

Kobe also limited Rondo big time that series. Everyone was proclaiming him the best PG in the game before that series. Other than 1 game, he never went off. The one game he did, Kobe was in foul trouble. Kobe disrupted the most important player on the other team (Rondo). Rondo is the engine that made the Celtics run. Kobe turned him into the Little Engine that Couldn't.

The bottom line is that nobody shot well for their positions in Game. Regardless his overall stats are by far the best. I don't think most people realize how tough it is for a guard to get 15 rebounds.
