this 8th grader could probably see limited minutes in the NBA... an 8th grader on an NBA roster would be :lol

An elderly woman's sneeze within a 20 foot radius could send him in a coma

Probably undue concern, but he needs a full and serious medical if he is legit 13-14.

A few more inches, he'll probably lose a lot of potential. 7-2 with 7-11 wingspan is a great place to stop if he does have a medical condition that can be cured/stopped.

Lotta hate in this thread. This kid is pretty fluid for a 7+ foot teenager.

why wouldn't he be playing against older kids.

that size alone should have him playing against HS seniors regardless of talent and the talent is obviously there.

seems greedy for a coach to keep him in the middles school age ranks unless there is something I am unaware of.

Marial, who was born in South Sudan, played with West Oaks (Florida) High School's varsity team this past season. According to P2bball.com, the 15-year-old has a staggering 7'11" wingspan and is "a basketball player in every sense of the word."

For his size, Marial is very fluid, has impressive handles, a smooth jump shot and insane dunking ability. Expect him to be a matchup nightmare for years to come.
