6/24 = .25

11/35 = .31

More dominant. More efficient.

Better.

Wow you haters are pathetic :facepalm

Kobe was shooting poorly, so he deferred to his teammates and became passive. Luckily Artest saved him with a clutch three and his teammates pulled him through.

LeBron unloaded the clip. He may have missed shots down the stretch, but he wasn't afraid of the moment. If they lost, he wanted the blame. Alpha gon alpha.

Nobody on either team had a good shooting performance during that game. It was a great defensive showing, and the reason we won that defensive struggle was because of the team play, rebounding, and making clutch plays. btw Doc Rivers and Tom Thibodeau both said Kobe was the key to the Lakers winning that game. He hit 7/8 free throws in the 4th quarter, grabbed 15 boards, played great D and hit a huge jumper with 3 minutes left to put the Lakers up 6 and the Celtics never could get back in the game after he hit that shot. That goes without saying he was the best player through 6 games by thousands of miles.

LeBalds had at least 5 games in this playoff run that were pretty much equal to kobe's 6-24 efficiency wise, if not worse. :lol

People forgot Kobe's brilliance through 6 games--30/6/5/2/56% TS.

Not to mention how clutch he was in that Game 7 in the 4th quarter: 10 pts/61% TS/4 Reb/2 Ast. Had a hand in nearly every single point by the Lakers in the last 7-8 minutes.

Kobe through 6 games: 30/6/5/2/56% TS
Kobe in Game 7: Easily the best player
Kobe for entire series: 29/8/4/2/1/53%/26+ PER

"Despite Kobe struggling shooting the ball, he was instrumental on the glass in a low-scoring game where every possession was key and held Ray to 3 for 14 shooting" - Doc Rivers

"I thought in Game 7 [of the 2010 NBA Finals], what gets lost on people, Boston was badly out rebounded, and he [Kobe Bryant] didn't have a particularly good shooting night, but he had a great rebounding night and that probably was the difference of the game." - Tom Thibodeau

Oh, and let's not forget Kobe's phenomenal Game 5 performance. If any of the other Lakers showed up that game, they wouldn't have even needed a Game 7.

This is just role reversal. Kobe normally would always take the big shots make or miss and lebron would offload.

It just so happens that lebron played like kobe i that gane and kobe played like lebron in game 7 2010

He was easily the best player through 6 games and also the best player in game 7 as well. That's my opinion, and the opinion of any reasonable non-delusional fan.

Even if LeBron does lose this finals and goes 2/6 that would put him very close to Kobe's 2/7 Finals run

Kobe has 2 Finals MVPs in 7 appearances
Born has 2 Finals MVPs in 6 appearances (Could be 3 if he wins this series)

2/6 > 2/7

Stay salty, haters

Eh Finals MVP isn't really relevant. Plenty of non-elite players have won it.

Plenty non-elite players have won Finals MVP?

More like plenty of non-elite players have won rings. That is a more accurate statement.

"Plenty"

That word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

It's irrelevant. Kareem only has 2 Finals MVPs, yet he along with Jordan and Russell are the strongest GOAT candidates.
It's an award based on 4-7 games and it didn't even exist until 1969, had it did Bill Russell would have more than anyone.

Paul Pierce, Tony Parker, Cedric Maxell, Joe Dumars, Chauncey Billups and Kawhi Leonard all have FMVP's. Even John freaking Starks came within one shot of winning a FMVP. Bottom line is Kobe won 5 rings, 4 of which he played at an elite level and the 1st one, although he wasn't truly elite yet, he was still a top 10 player and the best SG in the league and stepped up in some huge moments in the playoffs, and that's all that matters. Ridiculous to put some sort of qualifier on his rings because of a pretty useless MVP of the Final series award.
