Europeans have been HEAVILY propagandized over the last 4 or 5 decades. Americans are currently being fed a steady stream of this kind of propaganda.

The media constantly tells you that the property rights of all Americans need to be limited because god forbid some private business somewhere might deny to sell a gay couple a cake. The excuse is always that some group of people is in such threat of discrimination, that the freedom of all people needs to be scaled back.

And yet all American values came effectively from Europe and from European thinkers. There's been a long English tradition of freedom, but at the moment, it looks like the UK is further along the road of decay, but America is heading the exact same way.
