2 huge differences:

A) Lebron is leading a squad of castoffs, given his top 2 guys are injured.

B) Lebron is just a better player, so the scenarios aren't comparable.

Not all rings are the same. A LeBron ring this year is infinitely more impressive than Kobe's in '00, Shaq's in '06, Kareem's in '88 etc. It'd arguably the most impressive title out of any top 10 player, obviously with the likes of Hakeem in '94 & Duncan in '03 having arguments as well

They all deserved those MVPs, MVP is the proof of impact / that your game translates to winning in the regular season.... more than anybody else...

1... ok... 2... nice... but when you get 3.... and 4... or more... its no fluke... you are going into historic category.... and its very prestigious.

Same with being the man/fmvp/mvp in a championship run, which is even more prestigious, which is YOU being the absolute best player putting your teammates on your back and racing to the finish line from game 1 of the regular season all the way to Game 4-5-6-7 in the Finals....

Kobe had 2 such runs and those are what made me put up Kobe in my top 10 list.... his other 3 are not meaningless or something, no, just nowhere as significant as those last 2.... I can tell you like this i would have Kobe in my top 10 list even without those first 3 rings.... For you to be top 10 all-time you have to have proved yourself as being able to do that, to be the best, to lead a team to a championship, to be THE accountability for that outcome.... you can have some or many 2nd fiddle championships, but you are not getting in top 10 until you proved that.... and Kobe proved that with his last 2...

You have to do that if you want to be in the top 10... or else we might aswell have the likes of Havlicek or Pippen in the top 10 or something....

Now you maybe get it?
