It's pretty much impossible not to give him props if he wins with his teammates out. I actually felt bad for him after Game 1 when Kyrie went down and I don't even like him.

On the real, though. I don't understand why people still try to find ways to hate on the guy. I've come to terms with it. What he's doing is ****ing amazing.

The main reasons that people hold him down to are no longer valid. Playing as a clear cut underdog, no all-stars, on a inferior team talent wise, playing as a "statpadder", etc.

What I love about basketball is that Lebron is currently on pace to record an absolutely historical performance in an nba finals. This would be the best story in a long time in the league, and stamp Lebron's legacy as a player.

And yet if the Cavs lose, Lebron is 2-6, winning both championships on extremely talented teams, and clearly still chasing Kobe.

The stakes are high.
