He has played poorly by his standards but it is his teammates that are truly exposing themselves.

Only the real proven players of Iggy, Barbosa and Lee are playing to their usual standard.

Everyone else is not an offensive player. They are cogs in a system. And right now they are either missing shots (Barnes), outplayed (Green), or underperforming (Bogut).

It is surprising but not unexpected. Curry is getting consistently doubled 25 feet from the rim. You need a forward or center that can flash and take consistent advantage of that. So far only David Lee has been able to do that. If Curry puts up 27, 6 6 on 50% fg and they win everyone would be saying how good he is. It's a ridiculous double standard. He was second in rebounding for the Dubs (Dray 7). That's pathetic.

If I'm Kerr i would:
1. Start David Lee with Dray and bench Barnes.
2. Do a few clear out isolation plays of Curry from the 45 against Delly. Let him dance and draw double teams from penetrating.
3. Flash someone in the middle prior to the screen roll.
4. Slip the roll instead of setting a screen everytime.
5. Randomly hard double Lebron on pick and rolls (just like the Cavs r doin to Curry) and make other players become the decision maker. This is diff than helping on penetration. That leads to one pass threes. This would result in Lebron making the first pass and someone else having to make the second pass for the shot.
6. Run elevator doors a few times.
7. Double Delly hard on pick and rolls, stop sagging back and letting him get to the key.

shooting 15% when it matters with no assts or rebounds, he surely aint the solution either

Dubs/Kerr got it right.

Game 5 going to be a blowout. Lebron is not a natural born scorer, but is a legend and can do it 1 on 1 with no/barely any help coming to stop him. Now that they got Iggy on him + consistent help/doubles on screen rolls he is having to get his teammates to do more.

This is EXACTLY what has been happening to Curry all series and people acting like he has "not shown up" or some nonsense. No matter how good you are, with doubles, hard hedges, and constant defense 94 feet it is going to make you be a less effective scorer. That is what separates Kobe and Durant as offensive players to be honest. Kobe moreso because he is much better than Durant at getting the ball/yelling at teammates to get him the ball. Both of them can and will go around doubles and look for the score/shoot over them consistently and effectively.

If Bron could actually score against double teams (like Kobe) it'd be a different because then there is really nothing you can do to stop that.

The way Bron has been getting played in Games 1 to 3 is how Nash was getting played that one series against the Spurs where Pop said we'll let Nash get his and not let anyone else score. Nash went on a scoring rampage.

FMVPAMC finally got some of the role players to show up. Great leadership.
