The Bullets had won 60 games and had Wes Unseld and Elvin Hayes. The Warriors had only won 48 games and had Rick Barry.

As you probably know, the Warriors swept the Bullets. Barry's 2nd & 3rd options were 21 and 22 year olds averaging 11.5 and 9.8 on 32.1% and 41.0%.

Barry led the team in points, assists and steals.

If the Cavs pull this off, I'm not sure where it ranks all-time, but there have been a few other big upsets.

A 4-0 sweep, but all four wins were close, and the Warriors engineered 4th quarter comebacks in all four.

Truly an amazing upset.

BUT, the Warriors then added Gus Williams to that roster in the '75-76 season, and that GS team ran away with the best record in the league at 59-23. However, they were stunned by a 40-42 Suns team in the WCF's.

One extreme to the next.
