How about attack the fuccing basket? Fighting over screens to chuck threes against a pesky Delly is not gonna cut it, once he attacks the basket more and gets to the line, the jump shots, assists will all start to flow better.

Misleading title. He didn't say his defense is a joke, he said its a joke to think its actually "stopping" curry. No one can stop curry but himself.

He has been very defensive when being asked about Dellys D on steph. He came on ESPN radio and was interviewed by max and Marcellus and he got defensive and a bit heated when asked about curry getting bothered by Dellys D. He doesn't give him much credit for Currys shooting woes. Just uses the excuse that everyone has off days. Continually pointing out Jordan and Kobe had bad shooting days. I'm sorry but this is just excuses. Thompson is putting absolutely zero blame on curry and his struggles. Nothing about how he is shooting low % shots and that maybe he should try to manufacture easier looks to get going. It's crazy how many people have not held Curry accountable for failing to deliver on the biggest stage. If he had a bad night on reg season I wouldn't have a problem writing it off as a off night, but this is the finals. The MVP should not struggle this hard against a undermanned team.
